Make sure you protect her from Hu Tao I’m sure by now she’s ranting about how spirits need to rest and qiqi is technically dead and some bullshit like that
And at the same time, give Hu Tao some love, because most characters in-game aren't fond of her, even though we are fond of Hu Tao. There's nothing TOO wrong with Hu tao. she's just a very bubbly comical girl.
It was never mentioned that Xiao was the one who killed Qiqi, BUT... Whose job for an adepti is to battle with demons? It's Xiao. And remember when Qiqi went berserk because of the adeptal energy from ressurecting her? It's probably something from an adepti that has too much suffering and karma, like Xiao.
The Curse of Immortality Qiqi: the one who forgets her past and cries when seeing a family happy Zhongli: the person who knows the past and thinks about the past and is taking care of qiqi.
maybe as time goes on qiqi will regains her memories, maybe the effect of being hundreds of years in amber will make you forgets stuff. we need qiqi story quest.
I'd love to have Qiqi, she'd be a good team with Razor. Wish I could unlock her story lines and give her head pats Edit: ((these are pseudo-spoilers for the story of ver 1.1 btw)) I just realized that the type of vision the characters received could be linked to the kind of archon that took a liking to them. The anemo archon is the god of freedom, and gives a vision to those who they think value independence (Jean) or creativity (Sucrose). The geo archon is the god of contracts, and gives a vision to those who have a strong sense of duty (Noelle, Ningguang). The electro archon seems to value the concept of eternity, which explains why they rushed to give visions to characters who could have received the favor of other gods instead. They gave an electro vision to Keqing(who is devoted to Liyue and even caught the geo god's attention), to Lisa (who's academic oriented and known to Sumerians, and the dendro god who values wisdom could have easily given a dendro vision to a librarian like her) and to Beidou when she faced a sea monster (rather than the hydro god who could have favored a sailor of the seas instead). It seems the type of vision someone has depends on if they did something specific to move a certain god (like the electro archon of eternity, who thinks those with her power will end up making history and in a sense stay eternal.) I digressed a lot, but in Qiqi's case the Cryo archon the Tsaritsa is surprisingly the god of Love. So whatever it was that happened to Qiqi, she definitely had no fault in it. Even if she hadn't done something very remarkable to merit a vision as a reward, the cryo god probably felt bad for her and gave her a vision anyway, so her body wouldn't rot away. (sorry for the long wall of text for no real reason, the idea just struck me and I wanted to share. Perhaps the cryo god is the exception to the rule of having to earn a vision, you just have to love the cause you're dedicated to or be a nice person to get one. Really makes me curious about what kind of person the cryo archon is to steal Gnoses and then be the god of love too...)
The Tsarita isn't the Archon!! She's one of the 11 harbingers! Remember the Venti poem: That smile of yours looks out of place Did you perhaps steal it from your masters face?
@@AbhideepSaravanan No, the 11 harbingers all have names taken from the Commedia dell'arte. Tsaritsa is a title, and is not featured in this italian theatre at all. The lady you're talking about is called 'La Signora' (it's not her real name, just an alias the way Childe is not an actual name).
I think Beidou would have received an electro vision no matter what, she’s basically a living legend in liyue, and she’s as close to being eternally remembered as a mortal could be in Teyvat. The hydro archon’s ideal is justice, and while it does present itself in her, someone like Xingqiu would be a more obvious choice for a hydro vision.
i think qiqi has the saddest story of all the characters :( it’s just so depressing. and the fact that genshin community hates her so much makes it worst :(((
i’d love to have qiqi, she seems so good and cute. she’s absolutely adorable and i want her just so bad. i’ve pulled thirty times already and still didn’t get her edit: YOWW I GOT HER I LOST TO 50/50 BUT HEY I GOT QIQI
Some things that are in her voice lines, if you play in Japanese voice(I didn't play in Chinese so I can't confirm) and use her burst, she says something that can be translated to "I am the Fortune Preserver" This line is also in the text of her burst and if you look at the writing of the "Fortune Preserver" in Chinese and Japanese being "救苦度厄真君" uses the same terminology as the other adeptus we know of such as mountain carver and cloud retainer in that all of them uses "真君" while Zhongli being of a higher rankings referred to as "帝君" Long story short, Qiqi might not actually just be a simple Jiangshi that was revived by the adepti(which is implied as being more than one due to the text as well as adepti being plural and adeptus being singular), but she might actually even be a lesser adeptus that goes by the name Fortune Preserver
I love making slice of life head canon involving Qiqi, especially opposite Rosaria, making up my own back and forth between them just seems to fit for me
I'm not sure about Chinese, but in Japanese, 'shi' translates to death and I thought that might have a part in Qiqi's name since I've heard it pronounced as 'tsi tsi' and that's somewhat similar. Feel free to debunk me on that though. Also, I was wondering about the visions and the archons. When talking to Alrani during the world quest "Endless Research," she says that "It seems that nobody has obtained an Electro Vision for a whole year now. [...] I've heard that the Arcademia has been researching this matter for a while now, and they have concluded that the lack of Electro Visions granted to mortals is the will of the Electro Archon." The Vision Hunt Decree started around a year ago, with support from Paimon saying that it wasn't that bad last year. From this, could it be inferred that it is the archons that give visions of their respectable elements? It is said that visions are given by the gods. These might have been given by other gods but I deem that unlikely as it was said that during the Archon War, there were many gods who fought and the 7 that remained in the end became The Seven Archons. However, it could have possibly been previous archons as well. But that's my submission of thought.
"Qiqi" (七七), literally "seven (times) seven", is the name of a somewhat antiquated funeral ritual in East Asian Buddhism, which lasts 49 days when fully performed. I copied this from the genshin wiki
baizhu had Violated the ILO convention , line No. 183 , the UN prescribe a minimum age for admission to employment or work that must not be less than the age for completing compulsory schooling, and in any case not under 15 years of age
A little theory that i have tho the white snake around baizhu's neck is based from bai suzhen a white snake coz the husband of the white snake is also a pharmacist in chinese folk lore
Damn it Little blue helicopter 😭I knew you had a sad past but not that sadddd!?😱😭Not to worry Little Blue Helicopter all the "Uncle and Auntie" Travelers have got your back no more sad tears only headpats and huggies😎 and probably the occassional Raiden plushie
3:07 "In zombie culture, zombies only take orders from the person that has revived them" So Baizhu told Qiqi to not follow his order and follow her orders instead?
Qiqi's name means seven seven, Hu Tao is the 77th director of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. Maybe Hu Tao will be the one to release Qiqi from her curse, she does take her job very seriously after all.
I don't know about me but is Celestia being a tad bit cruel, giving them a vision when they are about to die, I don't know about me but if they died, they most likey won't be able to use it unless a god like being takes pity on you and turns you into a zombie and makes you never be able to remember events, good or bad
