It is full of shit. There is NO possible way they would be Museum Quality? But then again, they could have peiced together parts of highlights of a longer period of time for a series of one? or two? shows and Bullshitted everyone on the time.

There is a 4WD Camaro at "My Mechanic" in Livonia, MI. It's displayed out front during business hours. AND we have a shop in Ypsilanti that has two 4WD C3 Corvettes.

Well yeah they're made to "wow" you on first impression, but with those week long builds they can't really fix anything properly. Simply put, most of the time they're out for a quick buck.
You can't compare to some shows like Overhaulin and Kindig Customs and the Guild restoring show forget the name. It's certainly much better than West Coast Customs which is just a bunch of aftermarket products slapped on. It's very entertaining which is the main thing. I like all those shows to see how they can pretty much put any engine in anything.
Recently, Richard decided to sell those firebirds for one final time though I don't know how much those sold for or when they were sold? Though whomever was lucky enough to buy those, if sold, certainly have something that's one of those once in a lifetime type cars.
You know you have to much money, when you spend $53,000 for a vehicle to chase bulls in the field to the bucking chutes!!! Guy sounds cool has hell though.

I was at all these Barrett Jacksons in Las Vegas. Rawlings had 4 or 5 of the vehicles go across the block with the Camaro that day. Pretty sure he lost some money on a few of them. Nobody was bidding much that day

You are right to a point. Discovery does give them an option to work things out so they can keep the vehicles and or sell them. They did the same thing with Orange County Choppers
Enjoyed the first series or so but it just got repetitive, all the guys leaving - you could tell who was the problem easily enough. The guy who ran the classic car biz was probably the one worthy of a show.
If I remember, they were no1 and no2 prototypes that were supposed to be destroyed but someone their saved them and ended up being trashed until Richard bought them.
Sorry, but $600K for two first gen Firebirds is madness. $120K for both would be pushing it. That Camaro 4X4 is past fugly. I'm glad I did not waste too much time on this show. It is not real world.

Two Identical enthusiasts cars for sale on the market at the same time, the one with the story will always sell for much more money. That’s just how the classic car market works. Having #001 & #002 for sale in the same transaction boosts the value of both cars.
