Am i the only one that misses 2021 era of underground? Seriously thats when people just listened to music without unnecessary drama. People can’t really put this solely on allegations. Opium got several allegations and they still mainstream. If you dropping undeniable heat, you can’t really be cancelled.
Kobe lost label support before he got accused of this though, they weren't wanting him to drop EU4EYA. Then he got hit with those allegations and it was a wrap. Opium does a lot for their artists to make them more visible and curate their aesthetic, get them free Rick Owens and stuff. I remember at one point Destroy Lonely had Alyx doing his tour merch for No Stylist. that's something Kobe never got from his label & what many artists don't have. Opium is also feeding off Carti's build in stanbase who don't care about allegations. Zack Bia and Field Trip are all corporate.
