Obviously there’s gonna be some weird inappropriate things on the internet since it is the internet. The first mistake should be allowing your kids to be exposed to RU-vid itself and not youtube kids, it’s designed for kids to watch and not the other youtube that contains odd stuff. The second mistake should obviously be not watching what your kids are doing on the internet. Parents should be aware about real incidents happening towards kids that are dug deep down on the internet. That’s all

It was completely deserved imo. I watched him back in 2016 when I was like 8-9 years old and to be honest I should have been watching him. I feel like the jokes were taken way too far.

for Black Yoshi, one of his employees were fine with the race based jokes, even letting the voice actor for Black Yoshi (Logans older brother) say the N word at times, as for the Emo joke for Jeffy, it was basically making fun of the Kids who over react over not getting what they want, alot of kids around 10-15 do that sort of thing which is why it became a joke, but alot of kids shows have done the same thing like SpongeBob when Squidward wasn't happy.

Explanation: The original SML Channel has been sued from Nintendo because it featured puppets like Rosalina, Mario, bowser, peach, toad, etc, etc. the SML movie “human potion” or whatever it was called, features the characters having to change because of the lawsuit. HOPE THAT HELPS!

I wouldn't say better because some of his episodes have been pretty hit and miss lately. New videos like the fnaf series and this new series with junior and Penelope as a couple are pretty good but a lot of them feel padded out and rushed out the door.

Explanation: SuperMarioLogan Used the characters in violent, adult humorous, and sexual ways. So Nintendo sent them a mail to the their house, And told them to get rid of anything that has to do with their characters, unless they would be sued. So they had to change almost every character to a puppet.

Long story short SuperMarioLogan was about to get sued by Nintendo so they had to delete all their old videos and their old channel because it got demonetized so they decided to make a new channel and start all over again. Their new channel is shortened to SML because they can’t use or say anything related to Nintendo.
Oh my god, Logan got a cease and desist to which he had to make his own characters that started to sell so well he opened up a store, later had a kid, and now pulls an average of 1.5 mil views on a new upload within 24 hours.
Some of his new stuff feels very padded out. He's like the puppet show equivalent of family guy. Full of controversy at the beginning and lots of fans holding it up only to finally be free of the controversy only to slowly run itself dry overtime.
He still uploads it's just not the original characters because he got a cease and assist letter telling him that Nintendo will sue him if he keeps using the Nintendo characters. So he made a new channel and deleted all the other channels and he NOW uploads on the new one.
For those who don’t know. Back in late 2020-2021 sml had a big lawsuit with Nintendo causing the original Mario characters to be replaced due to copyright issues. It’s the same sml
They didn't get sued, they had a threatening letter from Nintendo to cease their videos, Logan then did an episode that changed all the Mario characters into humans to settle the Nintendo issue, he then started 2 brand new channels and closed down the older ones. One channel that is not monetised contains almost all the old Mario videos and the other one is where all new content is added every week. My kids love Sml, as far as I'm concerned, children see far worse in current day Disney crap.
For the people who don’t know basically The channel was normal until one day he got swatted and also got sent a letter from Nintendo saying if he didn’t stop using the Nintendo plushies then they would sue him so there’s a channel called sml reuploads and they post all the old videos while the new account makes more new videos.
The channel was definitely not normal before the letter and the waiting happened. The first wave of demonetizations came like 3 or 4 years before that.
SML has a rather very strange and obsessed following and community. From critics, parody channels, and others, there’s a lot of drama, wars, eras, and historical events in amongst themselves. There was even a channel called Jeffy Fan 101, who I can only assume was the one who was the leader, founder, and overall person who kickstarted the community of how it is today, who uploaded some of the most strangest videos I’ve ever seen. It has since then been deleted, as I’ve never seen a trace of them since, being discussed or otherwise. The SML community is very cursed, as it is possibly one of the strangest communities I’ve ever seen. Someday I want there to be a Wikipedia page dedicated to them.
He also says “the downfall” like it wasn’t just a suing case that happened. He lost a voice actor (also his ex girlfriend and Tito’s sister) but him and Tito are still ight, and from a source I read chilly cheated on Logan and maybe vice versa.
Rest of story explained: Logan had to make a new channel and get new characters. He also had to start fresh and remake the videos but with his new characters. After a long time he was able to get his channel back and popular again. Also like this took 10 minutes to write 👇

They changed not because they used the characters because lots of other RU-vidrs still use Mario plushies but I think it’s because Logan gave a bad representation to the Nintendo characters
