Almost all these comments are negative so I guess I’ll say this, ToT has no doubt had a rough first year in existence, but I know that the entire dev team cares a lot about creature capturing as a genre and I trust you guys to make a game that, not only creature capturing fans will love, but a more general audience inside Roblox. :)
My thoughts exactly and I know that they can still do it even during the rough times The respect I have for ToT team is still high and remains there because they're devoted to the project and they love doing this
I mean the game fell off already. They make a lot of mistake on release day, and encounter a lot of bugs, makes it laggy, sometimes the game stuck or crash, they have no hope to play that game again. That's why the player keep decreasing, even they update the game, half of them are coming back and half of them just quit the game.
@@MoonlarkSpirits It’s fine that he overestimated how easy making these games is, it’s just weird there was never anything said by him that was like “maybe making several videos about a Roblox dev team struggling to meet dead lines for their biggest most difficult update yet and calling it the end of their game was a little bit wrong” and then he goes and says all this 😭
I think the main thing that put me off during release was how unpolished the game was. The animations were lackluster, a lot of things were janky, a whole lot of bugs and more. The battles were what bugged me the most. The battle camera was really bad because the Tanorians are positioned all the way at the corner of the screen and it was also very zoomed out. There were also little to no sound effects and attack animations which I expected to be at launch because that is literally the bare minimum you could do in a game like this. The sprites are also a bit jarring to look at because they all vary in terms of quality. On one hand you got a pretty good sprite, and on the other, the sprite looks like it was made by an entirely different person. The way the UI functioned was also pretty weird, especially in the pc boxes. The lighting was another thing I had a problem with, sometimes it would just be way too dark during night time which was odd. The gameplay was also a bit annoying to me because trainer battles happened way too frequently, and there were too many of them in a single route. There are more things I want to mention but I feel like that's way too much negativity. I'm not sure if some of these complaints were already acknowledged in past updates, but if they weren't, then that's a shame. This game has a lot of potential and it sucks too that it pretty much flopped. I do hope you guys get back on your feet and strive to make this game greater than it is though 😁
Main thing that pushed me away was how many trainers they put in one route, legit had to walk back and forth like 20 times from the route I was already in all the way to the nearest center to make it to the next route

I would love to enjoy, play, and support this game but I (belive) i found a bug that made it so unbelievably unenjoyable. Where one voice line would play then suddenly pause for a long period of time (a LONG time, most over a minute of waiting) then play the next line, and pause again where the npc would just stare blankly and id continue to wait. Again, i would LOVE to play the game and continue its story, i wish yall the best of luck
I have been very hyped for Tales of Tanorio, and had fun playing the early game. However, before I even got to the first gym, lag was starting to become a huge turning point for me, so hopefully, this new overhaul will fix this and I can return to having fun. - bugs (especially on mobile where a lot of people play roblox from) - no life into most of the designs and models ( this is just my opinion) - no trading,pvp or breeding ( ik there being added) - devs giving false release dates especially a problem early into a games release - story still lackluster even after the third gym so some people dont even play the story updates( ik its probably gonna improve) Those are the reasons i can think off the top of my head.
To me the models is a big turn off but also how doing a battle or cutscene takes 10 years to get through since u cant speed it up and getting into a battle its like 20 seconds per imput like holy crap
@@Lily-yk6dzFeel like the modeler team or whatever dev team okayed the not so great looking monster designs, I checked the community monster designs and a handful of them were better then what currently is in the game
all thoes resone you point is really great the reonse why is falling cuss the first impression was not really best start and when they say they "play tested" then releeas and update what was still so much bugs cuss it was rushed see what LL took they time sure it took them long to get part 2 but it was worth the wait what LL does right ToT fails to they need to take time and slow down cuss rushing thing like they did cause this game to have problems all ready with cost a good amount of the player base to leave the game behide, and the game needs some polish cuss it not looking great either.
Honestly no one is perfect and despite the several bugs I never really gave up all hope on the game I believe it can get better and capture not just tanorians, but a bigger audience. Good luck you guys and keep pushing forward cause I believe in you 😊

The game fell off already ,because of the release day, they delayed 3 times and what do we get it? A LOT OF BUGS!! After a few months STILL A LOT OF BUGS im having hard time to chain in underwater over a week, so yeah, i hope theres still a chance to recover the game.
I don't mean to be a jerk dude, but if you fix the double battle bug, you would have a lot longer lasting players as in the second route, there is a softlock for people with only 1 tanorian .
A lot of bugs, really stiff gameplay, animations are a bit low quality, the ambition is there, just not really acted upon imo (sorry if it seems negative, just wanna make sure the usually looked over things are seen)
Ngl I think the things that put me off were just the chaining taking a while, there being nothing else to do besides chain also the overall attitude I saw in streams. I don’t think anyone really has this problem but every time I’d join a stream that lucky is in he’d be insulting loomian legacy when given the chance and it really annoyed me as it came off extremely arrogant considering the nosedive that was most likely coming due to not a lot of content yet
I hate the childish models in tales of tonario like trust me if the childish models were gone and we had sick tonario model I would play that game alot more (I played it on release and was put off my the childish models)
when I tried to play the game the difficulty at the start simply by itself annoyed me, as you HAVE to fight overworld spawns or possibly get ganked by up to 3 opponents, which is too much if you haven't gotten to grind yet.
i see all these people talking about bugs and shit and thats why the game died, which isnt rlly true tbh. I've talked with so many people and have heard and seen many people talk more about how there's a lack of content rather than the bugs.
When I first sat down to play ToT (during Alpha labs updates and right before Makoto, so recently), I actually had a ton of fun and was pretty invested in the game. I binged the entire story up to Makoto’s update wall and quit for the night, then pretty much waited for Makoto to come out. Once Makoto came out and I hopped on a couple days after, I felt pretty disappointed with the amount of bugs and confusion I faced. My quest log was always a mission ahead so I really had no idea what I was doing, and it wasn’t as engaging as it had been before. I think the game has huge opportunity, and I’m excited to see what ToT has to offer in the future!! I hope that the devs will take the bug problem into consideration and begin to patch all these holes in the game’s performance and make it a seamless and immersive experience!!
i personally felt like there was too much unnecessary dialogue like idc about how that guys family owns a farm. I also just found the game boring and sprites just looked odd. im pretty sure why others quit is due to gamebreaking bugs which might be the reason for which the game barely reaches 100 players nowadays. Most of the comments werent negative and were stating their reason for quitting tot. Yes there were some negative comments but most were just giving constructive criticism
All 3 games doodle world Loomian legacy and tales of tanorio should work together and make one big battle Colosseum where you can fight with your Loomian/doodles/tanorians against others loomain/doodles/tanorians I think it will be cool and help these Pokémon based games thrive For example we can a player with a Loomian face off a player with a doodle or a tanorian or vice versa

the potion mechanics were wierd as well like why make it heal 1/3 1/5 1/2 of any tanoorians health, Its just stupid and makes you waste all ur in game money. Also we should be able to decode whether certain tanoorians should earn exp from battles
The reason is of TOT 1. No cool designs 2. God awful cries(TOT cries) 3.Other ppl IDK HOW TO GET 3RD BAGE LOL 4. Bug fix was a lie (expact LL and DW) 5. Too boring 6. Um I played TOT but I’m stuck in a double battle haven’t been able to play and no it’s not the battle in general it’s glitched for me every time I press a move nothing works for about 2 weeks it’s the double battle in the mine and I still can’t get out played on computer no change tried my phone or iPad nothing I’ve been stuck😓it sucks I love the game but no fix no play oof

I think it was over hyped.. Like it's very good BUT they made it seem like it was gonna be sooooo much better than it really was... Much love bc the game is actually good! ❤
My main problem was that after the heavily delayed release, the game was still really buggy and very poorly optimized on mobile (don’t play roblox on PC so wouldn’t know how well it worked for that) So i have just been giving the game some time to slowly be worked on before giving it a second try
I love tales of tanorio even though it had a rough start due to the fanbase, it didn't ruin the game for me i looked around the cracks and bruises. i made fun of what i could do and it made me happy theres not alot of good custom pokemon based roblox games and im happy that this game tried and i will stick with it bc i love this game and i cant wait to see more for the future of this game
It sadly fell off but I still care for the game I still like the game I still really want what's best for the Roblox game Tales Of Tanorio as I know the devs are new learning CCG devolping I plan to let you guys learn I'm not giving up on the game anytime soon as I plan to see it's future updates I'm still here and I plan to remain with Tales Of Tanorio I feel the wrost bug the game got for me being a Roblox mobile phone player only all I got that I can play Roblox on is Mokoto Deephs there it may take a lots of effort to encounter a swiming Tanorian you want until it fixed that bothers me but at least I got the 3rd badge it is possible to get into the shipwreck where more of the story can be compleated I got there I decided to want to type this for those on mobile like me don't give up it may just take time to get inside the shipwreck.
@@XtremeAbdired I plan to give the game time I still care for the game and want what's best for it as I said in my comment I know the game is still newer then all the CCG's on Roblox. I don't plan on giving up on the game anytime soon I remember playing it a lot when it was so very new when it first came out. I still like the game I plan to play it once in a while and whenever there is a new update for the game as I have been doing when I got bored unfortunately after finishing all the story so far. I already plan to give it lots more days to grow as I liked it unfortunately not a whole lot like I used to but I hope to again like I was in the past. I feel I'm hopeful for the future it's bordering horizons that as far as I seen is the game Randomizer mode it what I read it as I looked at all Tales Of Tanorio news online.
Ill be honest, tot or ll isnt bad but the grinding really takes the fun out of all rpgs. As i already said tot is not a bad game and well built (except a few bugs but tot is fairly new)
By everything ive seen, basically ever since TOT has came out LuckyHD hasnt made the nicest videos on LL and has basically said TOT is just better. So by what i see everyone hates TOT mainly because of the drama, I myself really didnt play the game but i just wasnt interested but my thoughts on the drama makes me feel as if LuckyHD hates LL now. Although you made a vid on LL event, youve made it after all the backlash from the release and hate. i think LuckyHD needs to realise that he cant fix what hes done and he basically needs to make an apology vid.

In all honestly it’s the fact that you not thinking like businesses men and women when it comes to developing if you really love the game you make take everything in and just work and foucus on the game instead of worrying about the big stuff
Please for the love of God tell me we will be able to control the graphics of the game I can't even record myself playing the game on my phone especially the first trainer battle it just creates huge lag for no reason
The game’s story is not bad but I feel like there’s little to no tension in the storyline. There’s no real villain at the moment. no evil team/clan/corporation. There aren’t any memorable characters right now but that will probably change. And it just feels like there’s nothing on the line other than your ma is going bankrupt. But hopefully the story will get better and more tense in the following updates.
While I enjoy the game a big turn off for me was just how tedious and luck based hunting was I understand wanting players to grind is important but I especially hate how event tanorians rates were bad I kind of wished chaining increased the spawn rates of tanorians not necessarily as much as doodle world but like a good middle ground so there's still value
Honestly I dont think tales of tanorio is bad or anything, I just think we dont need anymore creature catching games. With Loomian legacy and doodle world and all the pbb copies and project pokemon copies. theres just no room for anymore creature catching games. In theory, I think tales of tanorio looks way better than legacy and doodle world, has its own voice lines, but just because your game is a better version of another game doesnt mean its going to do better. Nobody has plans to give up progress on the already established creature catching games because we dont have enough time to do that, everybody has things to do.
The game has a lot of potential and I really think it could be a good alternative to loomian legacy with some improvements. Some things that need to be improved in my opinion are: The healing items system, they’re too expensive and heal so little. Almost all of the animations, they don’t have any life in them. It makes battles feel way slower and considering how many trainers there are on a single route, it’s a huge problem. The story, it’s very lackluster considering we’re on the third gym. Lag and bugs, common issues for a newly released game but they impact the gameplay a lot. The level curve in the early game is weird, the opponents are jacked for no reason and you have to grind wild encounters. Lack of things to do after you finish the story, apart from ruptures and chaining. I know pvp and breeding are going to be added later, but even with that there’s not much content. And of course, the initial launch didn’t leave a good first impression.
Because there's a bug when you go into the water to do the water encounters the control mechanics the down is to go up and the up is to go down but your character doesn't go up it keeps on dragging you down the only reason why I know of this is because I saw a friend playing it on his mobile phone and he is legitly stuck in the water even when he resets his character it just puts him back at the water light and then he sinks down and can't get out

The first release for me was incredibly lack luster. The animations were a massive turn off when I begun playing, and I didn’t even get to start the first gym.
There are just too many bugs in the game that makes people not able to continue,sure the game is nice but the bugs,the game being way too easy to complete kinda like the gym and stories, I beat them super fast and then it’s boring
I haven’t been playing it much since my main game now is creatures of sonaria I haven’t been playing loomian legacy since it’s just event after event and no story 😫

Honestly liked the voice acting included, although usually play muted but the option was there and it’s nice to have it also when not being flung around in the depths it was a pretty decent experience having free movement rather than LL underwater movement being same as walking on land
I feel like it fell off because no PvP. PvP allows the players to come up with strategies with different types of stat combos to defeat the other players.
