Ive always wondered: What happened to the rest of the Dinosaurs that might have survived the volcanic eruption?

I actually never thought of one side of Isle Nublar being fine. I thought the eruption would actually happen on all sides of the island. Although I'm thinking that the only dinosaurs that could've survived Mt. Sibo's eruption could be the Compies. Unless it'll be interesting to see some more dinosaurs survive the eruption by being on the unharmed side of the island.

Even if only one side of the island was destroyed, wouldn’t the ash and smoke have affected most of the air around the whole island?

Oh brilliant! I've been wondering about this since the movie came out.

You would think some undercover companies would also go see if there is any DNA to salvage of any dead species that died from the gases and flow.

My guess is that the lava from the volcano had caused much newer vegetation to grow as for some of the dinosaurs left behind they to put it simple burned up in the volcanoes lava and ash and fire.

I really hope your idea does get adapted into a live action series

Personally, I don't think many, if any Dinosaurs would have been able to survive on the island, following what we see in the movie. While its true that the pyroclastic flow may have only torched one part of the island, the aerial shots during the boat's departure seems to show lava flows extending in many directions from the volcano, not to mention that balls of molten rock were still raining down from the sky, so even if the lava didn't cause much damage, they would almost certainly started multiple forest (jungle?) fires across the rest of the island. As for the footage seen in Dominion, I think it's said that the volcano remained active up to February 2022 (which does not sound great for any animal trying to survive that long), then it started to abate somewhat, which would mean the dangerous conditions lasted a relatively decent length of time (4ish years?), as a result, that clip might have only been filmed around/after February 2022, when it was deemed safe to fly over the island (e.g. the volcano had stabilised, the ash cloud had dissipated, etc), which may have allowed enough time for plant life to recover from the fires, and start recovering parts of the island, unlike the Dinosaur populations And even before the eruption occurred, the DPG website said that the volcano was already causing problems for the Dinosaurs beforehand, and lowering certain populations prior to the movie. Ash was already killing plant life in certain areas, and poisonous gases were creating breathing problems and contaminating water sources. These may explain why Baryonyx were seen in the underground tunnels and trying to eat Claire and Franklyn so persistently even in the face of lava, because it was that desperate for food, and potentially explaining why a Carnotaurus tried hunting a Sinoceratops during the eruption. If large quantities of poisonous gases were released during the eruption, they might have created invisible, low-lying clouds that suffocated any Dinosaurs/animals unlucky enough to be in their path, while leaving plants unscathed. Even if small pockets of Dinosaurs managed to survive, many would probably be unable to restore their populations, especially since their numbers probably weren't all that high beforehand due to living on an island with limited space/resources, never mind factoring in predation, competition, and a large number captured and shipped off the island near the end. Any surviving herbivores would likely struggle to find water safe to drink, and have to travel longer distances to find enough food (which could very well be dusted with volcanic ash which can lacerate your lungs, so even breathing is a risk), using up precious energy as a result, leaving them vulnerable to any remaining carnivores facing the same problems, and once these few herbivores are all but gone due to increased predation, thirst, starvation, suffocation, and/or sickness, the predators would have almost certainly turned on each other for food (if they hadn't already been doing so) and wiped themselves out. So in conclusion, I don't think any Dinosaurs larger than Compsognathus or Microceratus (at most), would have realistically been able to survive on the island, let alone have a chance rebuild their populations to sustainable levels, and even then, any left may have fallen prey to the surviving Pterosaurs due a significant decrease in the undergrowth they would probably depend on to conceal themselves from said aerial predators, let alone providing the necessary food for the Microceratus or small prey (e.g. insects, rats, lizards, etc) for the Compsognathus

I love all of the Jurassic Franchise films but there are four scene's in the first Jurassic Park that Scared the hell out of me, such as one of the employee that was killed by the big one seeing the lawyer getting eaten by Rexy, watching as the Dilophosururus killing and eating (Nedry) but the other scene's Such as (Muldoon) getting ready to shot and kill the raptors when it just so happened the big one made it's apperance the attack happend right after (Muldoon) clever girl those killing and eating him i Also don't like it when the entire pack of raptors kills the cow and you can still here the cow as it's being ripped to sheds i especially don't like it when the pour gallimimus looks up just before Rexy violently shook the galimimus right before eating it. But my last favorite scene in Jurassic Park just so happened to be when Rexy came and killed one of the raptors one raptor was so inragged at Rexy for killing it's sister that she just so happened to jump onto Rexy's back but that only lasted a few seconds before Rexy managed to shake the raptor off of Her and killing it and then throwing her dead body onto the skeletal remains of the Rexy and then Roaring her victory roar as the baner comes down and saying When Dinosurus Ruled The Earth.......

In Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, dinosaurs were running away from the volcano.

My head canon is that biosyn or mantah corp now ran by the nublar six heard new of the isla nublar eruption and they set recuses mission to capture as many dinosaur that had survive and swimming for their live For biosyn it possible and could tie to why so many dinosaur are all around the world and in dominion they had the same chip from camp Cretaceous and mantah corp and that could be that biosyn could still have some chip during 2018 either created them or sold by kenji dad and could have dart many of the surviving dinosaur and control them to their vessel to be used for the company,be spread around the world and sold in black markets For mantah corp it kind unlikely because in the ending of season 5 none of the camper show concern of the dinosaur and mount sibo and the ending show that the Lockwood dinosaur have already escape and spread around California So it only biosyn that could have recused the surviving nublar dinosaur

Since, the volcano Exploded on the “North side of the island”pretty much every animal on that side of the island, is pretty much dead so? The south side of the island pretty much fine. I do have high hope that there are still dinosaurs on nublar.

I do belive that some Dinosaurs could have Easily Survived, Dinosaurs like Gallimimus, Ankylosaurus, Baryonyx, Ceratosaurus, Chomsognathus, Dimorphodon, Pteranodon, Triceratops and Dilophosaurus have a good Chance of Surviving and Slowly continue living there. If the Creators want to Revisit Isla Nublar then im ok with it but i think some new Dinosaurs could be Cool for a Movie or TV Show like: Suchomimus, Teratophoneus, Albertosaurus, Plesiosaurus and some Dinosaurs that didnt had much Screen Time like: Ceratosaurus, Corythosaurus, Chomsognathus, Allosaurus and Dilophosaurus and great Video you´re doing a amazing Job ^^

To be honest I think after the eruption everyone thought the remaining Dinosaurs left there died and didn’t bother to say them but in reality some of them probably lived their grew in population and are probably just staying there I know this is a stupid idea but honestly I believe the eruption had all the dinosaurs stressed out so they probably all moved around to find safer areas some of the animals feelings safer near the volcano while others moved away and I’m not speaking about the pteranodons and dimorphodons cause majority of them flew away expect for the ones who just idk decided to stay which isn’t far fetched also the reason I include the dimorphodons is because one was trying to fly away off the island in Jurassic world but got shot and died so if the dimorphodons wanted to they could fly away but maybe they didn’t.

I believe that the mounts ebo eruption reports that were in the mainstream in universe we're actually a cover story to dissuade and discourage would be adventurers from going to Isla nublar to slow the illegal trade which was already wrapping up before the events of dominion yet I don't think we're meant to know it per say I do believe that it's a plausible side note to the overarching story

Well some dinosaurs survived the aftermath because they get to the high ground before the lava dried, or they are from the Isla Nublar south lands couldn't touch by lava. Maybe this time will save some stranded dinosaurs to get off the deserted island and bring them to their sanctuary.

Before watching the video and that the Jurassic World series is done but not the franchise of Jurassic, they may go back to the island and site B also as there is one Dinosaur can survive the disaster, the Compys. They may make a new series where REAL Accurate new Dinosaurs of how they used to look like evolved over many years because the Compys as they in terms of science started the Dinosaur Tree. No one would check the island so nature can take its course, the Compys evolving and being that they're made from Genetic engineering, the evolution cycle and growth with them could be much faster than normal.

That brachiosaurus scene in Fallen Kingdom was probably the saddest thing I’ve ever seen in movies

The ash and gas from the eruption would have been too much for such a relatively small island to go unscathed. The available fresh water would be polluted and compromised. Whatever survived the initial violent eruption event would have died off shortly anyways.
