There was a few guardian graveyards in BOTW, one big graveyard of guardians by Fort Hateno, a pile of dead ones at the Akkala Tech Lab and a Guardian Nest/Graveyard at the bottom of the Akkala Labyrinth
I wish they could be found in the depths, even if just broken down ones. It would make sense as well, since they are underground and the chasms opened only after the start of the game so they wouldn't have had time to remove them all if they wanted to.
I feel like Nintendo was deathly afraid of referencing the first game for some odd reason. In the first game, the divine beasts were a big part of the different cultures, like Vah Medoh's perch and all that, and yet not a soul even mentions their existence now
Most people on hearing the guardian jingle begin to panic, I hear it and think “ the prey has come to the slaughter” ( I parry guardians attacks with no sweat)
I also think Purah reused some of the guardian arms for the towers. The claws that hook you up with the gear each time you visit a new tower look just like them
We all know what happened to it, the hyrule clean up control after BOTW broke apart and scrapped the sheika tech to build more safer things like the skyview towers. Y’all acting like it’s such a mystery 💀💀
@@mayzified1, maybe 1.5, divine beasts would be enough to build all the sky view towers in Totk. Not to mention everything else that was left over, included the mentioned guardians, would need to go somewhere, and the Guardian storage containers (as far as I'm aware) cant be seen in the Depths, so they had to be used for something? If anything, perhaps the tech was buried, but even that's unlikely, because surely it would be dug up when the upheaval began and caves and holes in the very earth opened up
@@mayzified Bro there would still be left over shit. It is a mystery. I think vah naboris alone is enough to construct all of the Sheika tech we see in TOTK. Maybe Vah rutah too and that's generous. So what happened to the other divine beasts? Buried? Idts because we would have surely seen them by now with all of the caves and the depths that appeared after the upheaval.
The only problem with this is that there is no way they could have disasembled them all, there is not a lot of worker and hundred of guardian plus the gigantic divine beast. So in the 5-10 years between botw and totk it would be impossible to get rid of them all
I'd love to see giardians in the dlc and sheikah tech as a whole. It'd so cool that, in a dlc, after you beat the game, you can explore more area under the castle and have to do stuff involving them
Fun fact: you can actually find an “ancient blade” which is what the tip of an ancient arrow was made of i caves. it has 50 fuse attack power. I was elated when i found it.
@@smt3 in ver. 1 or something I duped a bunch of them because I had some on hand and I had like 100 then I met The Lightning Temple boss and a small amount of the ancient blades we're purely used to take *HER* down *SHE* scared me and *HER* underlings still scare me little
I think they should add an easter egg where the music plays and a static guardian just looks at you without the lazer and the music plays somewhere in totk
Yeah, Guardians really weren't that bad once you realized they were basically a one-note rhythm game. I kinda just started hunting them for sport by the late game. So far, the only non-Zonai-tech trick I've found to dealing with them is... bomb arrows... lots and lots of bomb arrows...
Fun fact: the hands that plug the purah pad in when you first activate a skyview tower are guardian legs, confirming the theory that the guardians were used to make the skyview towers
Actually the skyview towers actually contain the legs of guardians right under the launch pad. You can see them when you interact with a launch pad to download the map.
If they got put back underground... Image ToTK DLC allows guardians to exist in the depths. You'd be walking around in complete darkness when suddenly you hear that same old PTSD piano theme
If guardians returned they would not be less scary, if anything they'd be more scary, imagine a guardian possessed by gloom and capable of replacing its destroyed legs with gloom hands or the lasers spreading gloom and if too much spread a gloom hand or two spawn
Ohhhh no the Guardian music. I remember my first time hearing that noise and panicking. First time I encounter Gloom Hands I immediately reloaded to my last save. As soon as screen turned red and the music started
As long with the storage containers I also think some parts of guardians and other ancient tech were repurposed as we can see guardian legs the shrine terminals and I think the shrine elevators in sky view towers.
A part of me wishes a few gloom guardians would be found in the deep dark Maybe being pitch black in color so they blend in well with the dark environment, actively avoiding light if they could. Would make for a nice scare as your exploring an unlit area, just to hear a familiar piano begin playing as you frantically look around for a glowing blue eye in the darkness
my sister thought this was a gaurdians of the galaxy video thay had spoilers and we wanna watch it soon so she yelled DONT WATCH THAT VIDEO untill she realized its totk lol
I hate the gloom hands every time I fight them I want to yeet my switch into a wall and it's been a while since I last used the word yeet the guardians were simple enemies with a lot of health and if you didn't have enough hearts would kill you in one hit and were pretty easy once you got the hang of it
So in other words the guardians were either put back away or disassembled like the divine beasts and the thing inside them decided to come out and show their face.
I actually prefer the gaurdians over the gloom hands for difficulty reasons. Gaurdians always seemed to take you by surprise and filled open fields. Once you get a sapphire rod and bomb arrows the hands become stupidly easy. The scare factor isn't really there.
Feel like they were all repurosed for research or some shit, cause when you activate the skyview tower the robotic arms are guardian legs and the sound design uses the sound of them shooting a laser.
I would rather have to fight gloom hands because you can just parry or stun the gardian or hit it with gardian weapons. But the gloom hand, you can climb up and throw bombs and then you have to actually fight phantom ganon 1v1 which fun and also rewarding
Forgotten temple in totk is just sooo lacking. I got in there and I was well, disappointed. In botw, the forgotten temple was the one you saved for last because it was difficult. There was so much stress having so many guardians aimed at you. It felt like an accomplishment to get to the end.
I honestly think tears of the kingdom was way easier than Botw man the guardians were so difficult but I loved the challenge and made me strategize and think of how to deal with them which was skill with parry a laser with a shield or just getting the ancient shields to auto deflect the laser back
I guess an in game explanation could be that the people of Hyrule started to dismantle them after the defeat of Calamity Ganon, so that he couldn't gain control over them in the future and bring the kingdom to ruin all over again.
CDOTKOM is wrong because the real reason guardians aren't in the game is because FREDRICK used recall on himself to go back in time and own all of the guardians and calamity ganon. He did this because the demon king killed his brother KEVIN ( Kevin the GOAT tbh) So FREDRICK got revenge on the demon king's former self causing FREDRICK to destroy anything related to Clamity Ganon or Demon king Ganon which is why guardians aren't in Tears Of The Kingdom.
