I feel like someone should paint and mod a regular Fortnite AR-L like what's on the box to show off and say "there I fixed it Hasbro (and Travis Scott)" because this was just ridiculous. When I first heard about this it was very upsetting that the paint job was super botched.

Awesome storytelling. Having zero interest in any Fortnite AR variant or Travis Scott meant this was never even close to a purchase decision for me. And I was pretty thankful for that when pictures from customers started showing online. That said, I did preorder the Mandalorian blaster from Hasbro pulse, so fingers crossed it is not a similar experience.
I don't even understand why it took so long to come out. The toy's mold had already been made, and is still actively being produced. All they had to do was produce an extra batch and repaint them. It taking months to release is absolutely ridiculous, and I assume the fault laid with licensing, difficulties with actually applying the paintjob, or both.
6:46 actually as a reseller, i can confirm as long as the box isn’t torn to shit, small dents in box’s like the example shown are actually very common and not really frowned apon .

I just got a blaster delivered straight up in its original box. The shipping label slapped right on the front. They did add extra tape though for good measure and the contents were mint but still... This has never ever happened to me before and I've been ordering stuff online for the last 15 years or so.
I am a Nerf fan I hate Fortnite I have not even heard about Travis Scott until now Greetings to all people who came here by accident just to have fun learning about a commercial failure.
The last Nerf product I bought was the Rival Roundhouse. Nerf's going downhill with the Ultra and all these collab blasters. Too bad they don't sell the Nexus Pro or Dart Zone pro where I'm at. Would pick these over any new Nerf blasters.
0:14 no it’s really not the most valuable is either the rival edge series Kronos with holster or the Rival edge Helios the reason these are very rare is because for whatever reason they were discontinued probably in less than a day they have never been heard of since and are worth a ton of value maybe even more than the entire Red Strike Series they are probably worth at least 400-500$ max if they were nib they would obviously be worth more.
Never pre-order anything!!!!! All the risk is on you the consumer, for funding a product that the company already has the capital for. And when they don't deliver on their promises, tough doodoo. They got your money months ago.
the easy answer to why the price dropped is because... no one actually wanted one. the whole group of people that bought them were planning to resell them, but to who? the venn diagram of travis scott fans and nerf fans already bought them, some planning to resell, but there's no one else who wants them.
