Will Grier was so fun to watch at west virginia especially when they were one of the best teams in the big 12 and it was especially fun to watch him play when they played oklahoma
I remember hearing how when Jim McCelwain was hired as head coach at Florida, he had the opportunity to retain Grier and many in the program wanted him back. McCelwain wanted to “start fresh” with his own recruits and the rest is forgotten history.
It’s crazy because it sounds like he was crazy talented. Everywhere he actually played, he put up big numbers in short time spans. Dude just never got his head straight...
Imagine if he just wanted to transfer to a D2 school or something and accidentally picked one that didn't have a football program and hadn't realized it 💀😂
Thanks for putting their names up on the screen, its much easier for us international followers to keep up with it and also looks really nice. Cheers from Brazil, bro, keep pumping out the awesome content!
I think people tend to forget how hard it is to make it to the pros. You literally have to be the best of the best. Even NFL busts were the best at one point
Yup, hard to believe people were telling him he'd be a high-round pick. I thought he'd go 3-4th or so but was shocked he went in the 6th. Another year at Miami could have helped him I think.
@@HarrisHighlights easily not just for a potentially higher draft stock but no doubt a trip to the playoff for Miami the Pittsburgh game is what truly sunk them and wouldn’t have mattered how they fared against Clemson had they won the week before
Great video as usual. My only constructive criticism is reiterate qb in question more often. He, he , he is redundant plus saying the name stops us from having to rewind if we missed what you said the first time.
I love that this is my class but I only knew like a good 4 people and it got me think like damn if I went to a different HS I could’ve been on this list
@@HarrisHighlights absolutely love it! I have a video request...make a video about the top 10 rated players in ncaa 12 (there will be some ties) this game was my personal favorite when I was in college.
Over the last decade my Vols have wasted more talent than any other team in the country! I’m a Vol for Life(V4L) but I’m realistic enough to know that!
Are you delirious? 8 of the ten are disappointing but deshaun and Kyle Allen have been good. Obviously deshaun has been the most successful but Kyle Allen hasn’t been god awful. Deshaun is really the big bright spot in this class without a doubt.
Good video, but a small bit of advice: when you're plugging for people to like, subscribe, and share....it's probably not the best of timing to put an ad right in the middle of it. You'll lose some people's hospitality due to their visceral disdain for ads. Good stuff though!
Brandon Harris is from my hometown, same area as Dak. Saw them both in HS, and Dak was miles ahead of Harris despite Harris being the better recruit. Regardless, I was excited for him to come to LSU but definitely didn’t live up to the hype :(
It is such a surprise to me that Brad Kaaya didn’t get drafted higher or given any real opportunity. I watched all 3 years of him at Miami and I was constantly amazed. He’s Miami’s best QB in the last decade and was putting up numbers that should have merited a real NFL chance. So disappointing from the Lions, Panthers and Colts.
I have rated high school recruits since the mid 90's and I was surprised by Kaaya. I thought this was the kid that was going to put the QB position back on the map for Miami U and was my number 3 guy.. I thought for sure Grier was going to make it as at least a backup in the NFL (remains to be seen) but he was my number 2 ranked. Saw Watson play in high school as it's close to me and was sold on him and he was easily my number 1 ranked QB. Wasn't high on Park, Barker, Heard or Harris. I liked Cornwell but thought he was overrated but still had him at number 9. After Chryst transferred to Tennessee, I knew he was done, but he was my number 4 guy. Clayton Thorson was my number 5 guy but he ended up with a lot of injuries but looked like NFL potential to me. Deshone Kizer was another I was high on but didn;t work out.
Lets go!!! number 10 went to my high school, the only other cool things to come out of that place are Kevin Pillar, Laura Marano from Austin and Ally, and multiple sex scandals.
You got one guy who is one of the best in the league and two other guys who are still in the NFL who have started multiple games. Thats actually pretty good.
so there were ten hot shot top rated guys, 10 programs that thought they had a stud, and of those ten, only two spent their career playing quarterback at the school where they started out. Sad.
