I had a similar situation in May of this year that got me hospitalised for 4-5 weeks. And it just came out of nowhere leaving me with 4 hours of sleep at best and I know how hard these things our so I’m so sorry for what happened. 😊

there is no one worse than 0 giving f's people in hospitals recently i went through a horrible stomach flu, by far the worst ive felt in general for the past 10 years and god, you only realize how good it feels being healthy the moment you are at your lowest. I couldnt drink, eat properly, i was absolutely dehydrated and i lost 3kg, it was horrible in every way Im glad you managed to solve all of this out, life is unpredictable and in a day you can go from the best day of your life to your worst nightmare, anyways, stay safe, im glad you are fine now

hope you stay well bro this sounds horrible. Ive had a similar situation having had severe abdominal pains (on and off) and being unable to lie on my side for about two years now. Similar to you i have had multiple scans of all types been in and out of the hospital and had lots of blood tests. The pain has subsided the last couple of months but i still do not have a diagnosis. Glad you got sort of got one and are feeling better.

Assuming you are from the UK, I have heard many bad instances about the hospitality culture, junior doctor online consultancy before meeting a senior specialist doctor, too much waiting time which sometimes ends up for months, and all the bull****. That is why many foreigners/ celebrities prefer health care treatment in India (and other countries too but I don't know them) which has not only the availability of endless good doctors but also better treatment, hospitality and are affordable. The same case applies to US medical services.

I had the same story, but i was not the one in hospital, it was my brother. He had some kidney disease that i cant even spell out in english (Glomerullonefrite and gastrite in russian, idk about en). He was struggling for a week at home because we didnt think it was something really serious, but after he started to lose his hearing and couldnt eat anything except soups, my mom and him went to hospital immediately, took some scans and tests and the results showed that he was literally already dead. As nurses said, they didnt even know how tf was he still walking. As my mom told me, the nurse left for 15 minutes, told them to wait, and after all of that some random guy with the thing they carry you laying on and said "Alright, lets get you to the resusciation" like if it was some youtube video. When the resusciation arrived, they saw my brother move freely and refused to put him there, refused to listen to the nurse saying that he literally shouldn't be alive by now. After all they actually did agree on sustaining him there, the reason why he was in resuscitation is that because he needed to be watched 24/7 for several days. After 2 weeks he was transfered back to the hospital where he spent almost 2 month recovering. Later on turned out that he had several diseases and the one that caused him to get into hospital was the one that should not have had any symptoms until the final stage where the patient has no chance of surviving, and if there were no other diseases, he would be dead. The nurse that refused to put him on to 24/7 observing after like 15 minutes of talking right infront of their patient should be fired for sure. Later on he recovered in 4 months, spending new year and christmas in the hospital. Im glad that you recovered from all of that and i really feel bad for what has happened to you. Best wishes.

My family runs a hospital, it is common to leave a canula is, this is so that they can give you another drip if they have to and so that of incase they do remove it the next time they will have to prick you again and it can be hard to find a vein.

my dog has basically the same issue where he has water in his lungs and heart, he doesnt seem to be in pain but they found this in the 1st time that we been to the vet they found the issue... which is just unlucky that you didnt get competent enough doctors to check for this

The job of a nurse is to care for you while you are in extreme pain (in your case at least.) A nurse should never have an attitude with patients who have been on a number of medicines and in a ward for a number of days, it’s absurd that they expected an apology from you.
