What Happened to This Game? | Miscreated 

i used to play this game. Alone, met player in the game. Walk together, looting together. On a building he said " hei look there", i look, then he shot my head from behind.

God i'll always remember meeting my main group in this game. I was adventuring in Sultan when i ran by the church and heard hushed speaking so i walked in expecting to be shot and find 4 guys kneeling in the pews talking to eachother and we we grouped up. Building our base by pinecrest derby and defending it everyday cause another group built within seeing distance of our already fortified base, picking up pigs to bring back to base and running from tornadoes carrying said pigs, throwing a rave at our base with like 30 smoke nades then getting shot at and not knowing it was coming from cause we couldnt see. We all stopped playing in 2019 though. 2 or so years later i actually met an ex-dev of Miscreated in Destiny 2 of all games and he told me a bit of the development woes.

Miscreated is one of my favorite games, whish its bigger. i also check here and there to see if more people are playing. i use to play back in early 2017 when this game was kinda popin.

Miscreated was always really strange. It hit the same as DayZ in a lot if ways and completely missed in others, but it always felt fun to play regardless. It just felt like a simpler and more compact DayZ to me but the intense moments were just as heart wrenching, other shitty survival games like H1Z1 never got me riled up and invested like Miscreated somehow did. Exploring the city with my friends was honestly so intense and so much fun, all 4 of us ended up engaging one dude but we died because the bus we were taking cover behind was an actual drivable one, which means it could take damage, so it fucking exploded and killed every one of us. Good times, I wish the game got the treatment it deserved.

i get nostalgic when i think back on the "golden age " of miscreated back in like 2018- 2019, almost always crowded servers, and you always were on high alert when you snoke into orca hospital to loot and heard slow crouched footsteps getting closer.....

Literally EVERYTHING you said in the intro I can and STILL agree with. Miscreated was my first survival game I ever played and I stopped playing around 2019. I joined the game in mid 2019. For me I thought the game was still in development. I didn't care about the bugs it had, the glitches it made, or the kos players in the game. I just lived it for the experience and thrill of my own lonesome. I mean just SURVIVING is so fun for me especially when you don't know what day is your last. But after grinding too much I found so many flaws in everything and how everything feels. After losing it to a hacker (Grinding loot) , I sought out forums or developer updates. That's when I found out how much money the developers had made in those sales. And how they feel for the games current state. Its A B A N D O N D E D. I cried a little bit, like a kid. The game had so much potential, so much updates, fixtures, UI, HUD improvements, items gameplay, roles, bases, locations. But no. They went with pretty thumbnails, and high ass sales. I'm going to bed, sorry for the long comment, just wanted to vent a little, because I also check out a list of my games every 3-5 months 😂 . I get PTSD every time I see someone loot a house.

I still play just not on the official servers, I like playing on the modded servers like apocalypse Server Spawns a little more loot and they made the building of bases Easier Very fun Server Only reason why I still play

Game is very good and I recommend it to anyone who enjoys survival games. But the game has a learning curve and will punish you for mistakes, if your brain doesn't work out to be careful looting to avoid drinking radiated water then you'll never make it. This game deserves to be at the top alongside the other popular survival games, and if you look at what's available in the survival game genre atm, it's actually insane how other games stand above Miscreated. Game suffers from a weird trend where RU-vidrs give the game grief and it became very trendy with people to hate on the game, no more development now but the developers still work on fixed and patches for bugs. All of the PVP focused players began to dislike the game for the most silly reasons, an example of this is they added in the requirement to cook food and water before consumption, and these guys would cry they couldn't loot a tin of beans in a supermarket, a gun off the road, and be good to go. Also when I came back after 3 year break I couldn't believe that people with thousands of hours were leaving reviews on steam to say don't buy the game. Anyway as you can see this is my favourite game so I'd love to get some people on playing. If you have never played or tried it but love survival games, get yourself online and try it out.

After playing Hurtworld, Rust, 7 Days to Die, DayZ, Arma 2 & 3 DayZ mod, Deadside, the Forest, even Unturned; this was the only game that scratched that survival itch for me. Wish it wasn’t dead.

The radiation being increased really killed this game for me, I loved chillin for days on end building bases and going on loot runs. With the radiation I just die all the time so I can't enjoy the game anymore, I have over 800 hours.

That diner is between Brightmoor and Pinecrest on that connecting road that goes along the river. It's closer to Brightmoor. Ot also has a ladder on the side, so you can get to the top and there is usually decent loot up there too.

I used to absolutely love miscreated. I spent like 2-3 years almost exclusively playing it. The same changes you were talking about are the ones that drive me away, on top of the devs banning anyone who disagreed with a change they made from the game's official discord. A youtuber called ThingsWithAli used to make the best RP vids for this game.

I played like 3 years ago before radiation and everything, and now I have been playing for like the last 13 months and I can't stop. Use your mouse wheel to loot man!!!! I had to do what you did on your radio for like 8 months before I found a clan to play with!! so realistic I love this game.

OH MAN watching you with the map was like my exact disposition during every jenky ass nonsense decision they made with the control scheme. It took me days to learn that M was actually (next weapon/item) and N was previous weapon and for some reason when it brought up the map I thought M was map. Then the next thing I learned is that when you use TAB to bring up the gun or item to the forefront, you don't need to ever raise it again (until the item is put away or you drive a car or other events) but if you dont see the item press TAB and it will raise, and stay raised. But until I figured that out, this drove me insane, and to be frank this system of equipped/unequipped and ready/un-ready sort of drives me crazy. I've learned to just hit Tab whenever i don't see what's in my hands. That way I can see it and hit the right number 1-6 to equip it. And you're right, this game is like unto a very flawed diamond. It's something beautiful, but at times you will see those flaws and can't stand them. It's very glitchy and some of the things they did don't make one ounce of sense. Like clicking the craft button 1,000 times to create 1,000 lumber and for those reading this, that's literally the case. Sometimes you have to press the craft button 200-300, or even a thousand times and spend 15 minutes solid clicking. Most people download a mouse macro to click for them because that's just absolutely insane that they designed it like this. And there's a ton of other examples where you don't feel like they gave much of a crap about the player lol. But I have 700 hours in 6 weeks and i love this game.

Loved and hated this game, probably more loved considering I put up a private server on an old tower to host me and a few friends, find myself going back to it every few months, the only one of the genre I keep coming back to even after picking up many others in the same genre, waiting and hoping for a developer to make a more polished clone with additional features

I spend many hours exploring the island, looking for supplies and hiding. I even found players to cooperate with, but after we build a base, found vehicle and army equipment, we have nothing to do but kill other players and raid a base what was boring for me. Now in 2022 game looks abandoned by developers and by players. So shame. I wish the do major update focused on players organization, clan wars, area control or something, but I know the game just die. Only the players initiative can ressurect Miscreated.

tbh this game would probably be in my top 5 survival games if it wasnt for the radiation storms. It was soo good before that.

What happened? In short 1) The devs stepped off, as official servers became no more; 2) all development was left to individual server owners, 3) the Discord admins treated everyone like shit, which in turn reduced any kind of Entrada support (not that any support came from Entrada; it came from individuals on Discord with ego trips).

i wish idk a big ass company buys miscreated and truly make it better bc miscreated really have something special idk maybe the world but there aren't updates or anything just imagine this game with events a story and updates every month. it's so sad since the game has so much potential.

the devs make this game too complicated...the game used to be fun back then and now you can die by drinking and eating even that "inspect" option is not guaranteed safe to consume.

Feels like Rust or DayZ are the only populous survival games now that aren't early access. I hope another contender comes into the mix.

I've played this game since day one, and always wished so badly it would become popularized. Its a seriously great game. The problem is, there is nobody else to play with!!! :(

RIP Miscreated

I really like Miscreated, but I would play another survival game if there was a better/more complete one. I don't like DayZ, and Scum isn't nearly as complete of a game as Miscreated is. Miscreated has its problems (optimization, low loot, and other barriers/gates that prevent players from experiencing most of the game's more advanced features before they get frustrated and leave). But, if you can find a good modded server to play on, this game has some good mods that improve the basebuilding, cars, weapons, and overall experience. Playing vanilla is good, too, but I think modded servers are just more fun.

I used to love playing this game but when I went to go back in after a long time away, I was spawned in glitched stuck in the ocean or some shit. Al's have you tried remembering to not search the god damn cupboards under the god damn sinks??? Lol. Btw yes I have also waited for a poo to make me feel so much more relieved when I do choose to release it, my bm's don't control me, I control them! 😂 but it's not a good idea if you have roommates because there's been times I was on the brink and went to go and my stupid roommate was pooing too in our only bathroom, I had to wait even longer and it was hell.... but my God when it released....Poopgasm! (Poopgasms are a real thing look them up... or maybe don't.. Googles a weird place) Anyway love the vid and am going to check if you have more mistreated stuff and am subbing hoping you make new mistreated videos because this was great!

There are official servers like Euorupe#1 that have average 20 player playging right now. Im back after one year break, and im having fun in this game again. I have 300h on steam. The dayz inventory system is horrible, the gunplay is horrible and the base builiding is horrible.
