I’m an audio engineer and I love how Tidal displays credits and makes them searchable and into a collection. Also more revenue for artists which finds its way to me.
I think that matters. If square purchases Tidal, they can make changes that might degrade your experience. They can also pay artists less. So the direction of the company can change if Tidal gets bought out.
@@its3dnow524 why not ? it has a better ui and better sounding quality even when using airpods, giveaways, tickets to different concerts before the tickets are online, digital concerts and pays your favorite artists more than any other streaming services. i would say use spotify to find new artists and build your playlist but transfer all that data to tidal so at least you can support the artist more.
I wish more people supported Tidal. It literally pays artists the most fair fees. Also you don't have to pay for the expensive tier. You have same price tiers as Spotify and Apple Music - for not the Hifi sound quality. But you still help artists and producers get fairer wages.
Platform Pay per stream Streams to get $1,000 Tidal $0.013 76,924 Apple Music $0.01 100,000 Amazon Music $0.004 250,000 Spotify $0.0033 303,030 RU-vid Music $0.008 125,000 Pandora $0.0013 769,231 Deezer $0.0064 156,250 they may be the "best" in terms of payment, but its still abysmal
I been streaming with tidal for 3 years and Bill is $4.99 with students discount for tidal premium. Tidal library is bigger than apple and spotify (over 60 millions song) even foreign music. Apple and spotify have 40 million songs
It's the cross platform support that keeps me with Spotify. No other platform is available in so many places. And Spotify is the biggest. That and when I want High Quality audio I put on a vinyl.
I've been using tidal for a while now and it's basically high fidelity/quality music(MASTER) and the clarity is really good when paired with headphones such as the wh1000xm4's or Bose and other brands
Sound Quality doesn’t matter at this point. Music will sound good either way, the problem would be which service has more to offer. Who has more of your favorite artist?
I've had zonga, deezer and spotify for 1-1,5 years each and I've stuck with tidal since 2017. It costs just as much as the others and the interface is sooo much better. They also actually pay the artists
Fuck tidal, they scammed me, and thousands of others, for a “free” trial, but still charges during the “free” trial. Their Better Business Bureau grade is also completely garbage
The iPod killed high quality audio and its never been the same since. Before iPods every new audio format was varying degrees of higher quality than the last.
I don't understand how ppl can acknowledge how high the quality of tidals music is, but then say they're too expensive. If apple charged however much tidal does, ppl would pay that premium with or without the premium quality streaming.
The MQA files offered on Tidal are just too hard to playback. If you want anything more than ‘CD Quality’ you’ve got to have specialized hardware to decode or ‘unfold’ them for playback. My Denon 4500 receiver for example can playback Amazon Ultra HD high resolution files from their catalogue, but I can only playback their cd quality files on it. It might take a $550 Bluesound Node 2i just to playback those Tidal files. There are a few options of LG phones that can playback MQA too, but no real way to do it elegantly for a nice hone stereo. Arguably, the MQA files might be worth it vs the uprez forgery junk that I’m sure Amazon Music is full of, but not for me personally unfortunately. Tidal is a great service. If you’ve got a budget for it. It’s just too pricey for me for what I can almost get from Amazon Ultra HD for a lot less.
I have a question, are those OLED TVs in the back? If so, by now that screensaver they have running this whole time should have a screen burn-in on those displays right (regarding the outline of the earth and the sun)?
How can anyone not notice the background noise in songs disappear and clearer audio. Plus more detail in treble due to higher bit audio files. If anything it becomes a much wider difference with expensive headphones- I personally use iems, currently using the UE11's by ultimate ears. I'd recommend ciems, like these as they do a really good job at noise isolation
The only reason I heard of Tidal cuz they sponsor Arsenal the team that I follow and do videos on their channel featuring our stars like Auba and Lacazette
Well I tried Tidal and I couldn't tell much quality difference from any other crap music streaming service. Local source was always better in all cases.
You know Sean Penn has been in Jay-Z circle since blueprint 3 that's 12 years ago. And on camera who knows when they linked up maybe 2 decades ago for now guys you just a decade late
Lol exactly. He didn't report anything but JayZ and Jack Dorsey hanging out. Could it mean something, sure. But nobody has an idea for what reason. Sprint bought a 3rd of Tidal I believe. Not sure how that works with T-Mobile buying sprint. I would think either tmobile now has that % or Tidal got first right to buy the shares back. But nobody knows that either
But doesn't Spotify also have Very High Quality preset? And to me that sounds just like faster way to fill up phone memory, or blow up the internet plan... I'm satisfied with Spotify.
Tidal is awesome, but I unsubscribed, too expensive. From a leadership point of view they don't understand tech, the way you win is provide better and cheaper. Not better and more expensive. If it was the same price as Spotify I would resubscribe. But its still hard though, Spotify has high switching costs and network effects.
Lol what happens when you think you're so awesome that everyone will pay to listen to you and your friends, but you're really not that awesome, and people like to listen to different kinds of music? Gee, that's a tough one.
one thing u have to realise is that I am not perfect and I was a Christian , I don't whether I was Christian , u now we will never go to heaven because we go to church or do good deeds , even wicked people do good works , they love who loves them , they lend anything who lends them back . If Ur believing that chirstianity is only about perfect people who never sins and do only good and thinks we right , never think of that A real Christian before giving life to Jesus Christ 🙏 was broken , worn out and was of pain , I never said we better than anyone or greater or we are right than anyone else . We are just a bunch of people who was searching for to be our saviour or Messiah,

@@mr.lowermerion5585 First of all this snippet is from a video that came out a few days earlier. Even if it didn't what's your point? News is news, I hadn't heard of it until I stumbled across this video. Are you saying he shouldn't be allowed to report on something because of the color of his skin? As the other guy said, comments like this make you come across as being racist.
