Speaking of yandere dev. Im I a bad person for Supporting Yandere dev? Im aware that he's done insensible things like Wishing death or Thinking DID is fake. But im my opinion, It's not Enough for me to stop supporting him and his game. I have been critical of his game to, The unoptimization of his code, some bland characters, and the general direction of the game. I remember last year that Left feedback in his discord server to his game and it went something like this. Me: Yandere Dev if got some feedback for your game. YD: Grate, let's here it. Me: I'v Notice that some characters in yandere simulator Are a bit dull and have no Dept to there character. Mostly the senpai to be pretty uninteresting. Yandev responded with Saying that senpai will have more dept into his character further into the game when it's finished. Then I talked about his code and how it's looks A bit messy and unoptimized he said the reason the code looks the way it dose is because He had alot of pressure to keep adding features to the game when it was at it's peek. I said i support yandere dev on a video criticizing him and everyone was just after me calling me a "fanboy" and A "yandev simp" And i said that i'v been very critical of yandere dev and sometimes poked fun at him for laughs And they think im some shill supporting a bad person. Im going to make this very clear: I don't Support his ill will actions and words i support the game he's making because i find it interesting. TL;DR I support developer that iv'e been very critical of for game i like.

@@alihankerson7766 Here's what I can say: A lot of people loves Yandere Simulator despite its flaws (7-year old unfinished game, the overusing of the word "senpai", the funny google translated names, self-insert harem character, the misinterpretation of "yanderes", and many more) Well, we don't have choice but to support Yandere dev since we love his game and we're waiting for it for like a lot of years. I'm not a fan of him but I'm a big fan of his game, and I know that his work is still no joke since I also aspire to become a programmer in the future.

if he did go through with the crowdfunding campaign it would have likely crashed and burned.

He also should've done what he did with the 1980's mode: Quickly put all 10 202X rivals in the game with similarities, so players can "complete" the game, then add in each rival's events and behavior after that.

The guy fully explains how the site works and shows the proof overall. Keep also in mind alex was EvaXEphon and he still uses that email. otherwise short explanation: The S-Doll site has a simple account recovery check. if an email + username is fitting you get the "email was sent to account notification". If not the site will show you an error. but of course yandev got the mails to the reset the password he changed it, But videoproof exists.

I personally really liked it, it’s the same concept from the opposite perspective, and Saiko’s ai is remarkably well done. It almost reminds me of the AI of the Xenomorph from Alien Isolation in terms of personality and intellect.

@@michaelbrody3356 well people make mistakes, it could’ve been something he didn’t think of. Second of all, I’m not entirely sure how it would’ve worked for this genre but there are plenty games that released with the first small bit of polished content updated as time went on, like Bendy and The Ink Machine. It’s first chapter was free and you had to pay for the second chapter once it came out (but once you paid for chapter 2 you’d get every chapter released afterwards for free). And for the record, no one here is a “hater”. The only reason people are even mad at Yandev is because of how he reacts to criticism (well there’s more). People have politely provided ideas or tried to help improve the game but he’d react rudely. After it became well known that he acts in such a way, everyone else decided to be rude back and I don’t blame ‘em.

@@lordiedams348 No. 1980s mode only took about 4 months to make, which is relatively nothing. It was added to test out systems that could only be tested with 10 rivals, and yandere dev wanted it to be something playable, to crowdsource the testing. According to yandere dev every new bit of code will be used in the main mode, it's just the assets that are changed (but I haven't actually played 1980s mode because I don't care that much about this project, so idk to what extent that's true.)
