You want to explain that to him? He's barely a juvenile. This is totally new and strange for him and there's really no one to show him how to adapt. That could take some time.

It’ll take time, but he’ll be a thousand times better off if he gets through it. Lots of former pets adapt well if they can make it through the transition. But a pet will always be a wild animal in confinement.
