The member of the Royal family I got my Duke of Edinburgh Award presented to was Jim Royle. The certificate he presented me with had an eggy bread stain on it and the award said "Duke of Edinburgh My Arse."

When Prince Edward was speaking to you, does the photo company take pictures for you with him or is that not allowed either? Are the photos only with the guest presenter?

Well then. There are four ceremonies going on simultaneously and the prince will speak to half of each ceremony at a time (they arrange you into two semi-circles so he can address you). That lasts for a few minutes each side before he moves on to the next room. Long story short he doesn't have enough time to join all the group photos (the photos take a while to get done) and it'd be unfair for him to only be in some, so he's in none. But yes the guest speaker will be in them. Hope that helps :)
