I hope Harris picks Gov. Walz. I love that he has been so outspoken and unapologetic about the work he’s done for the people of Minnesota. We need that in the White House.

@@annt5726 Minnesota has the third-highest human development index in America. Only Massachusetts and Connecticut are higher. The state is one of the best places to live on the planet as this insane level of human development is on par even with places like Norway. The DFL and Governor Walz should be extremely proud of how they run the state. If despite all of that you still feel like Minnesota is destroyed, I wonder how you would feel in the rest of the country.
I'd love Bernie, except for his age, and his stupid stand on the Israel-Hamas war. There seems to be friction between Bernie and Kamala as Bernie has not endorsed Kamala yet.
Walz fits the VP bill better than the others. He resonates with rural America. ... middle-aged, conservative America (in a good way lol).... working America, at least in Minnesota.... which is a state that's in a group with neighbouring Wisconsin and Michigan that would indirectly bask in his elevation to VP (and may bring Electoral College votes).... and he is a BOSS when it comes to charisma and slaying the repulbikans in the media (at the very least)..... hope he Walz's right in lol.

He's tough as nails, and is sharp as a tack. Not to mention his track record is impeccable. Plus, he would DESTROY JD Vance in a debate. It would be a HUGE mistake if Harris doesn't pick him.
I never heard of him. He seems like a standup guy. It's refreshing to hear someone who talks like a real person. He has experience in public service, unlike the former fraudster-in-chief and his Silicon Valley padawan.

Walz would be a terrible pick for many reasons. The democrats need a strong, young leader like Shapiro who would appeal to the mainstream of the Democrat Party and would ensure a win in a large swing-state. Pennsylvania has double the Electoral College votes than Minnesota.
Walz should not be VP. The DFL has run MN and the City of Minneapolis for decades and what do we have, the death of George Floyd, a consent decree against the MPD as well as a scathing report from the MN department of human rights on racist practices of the MPD. I can imagine the RNC ads highlighting the burned 3rd precinct, riots, looting, and the George Floyd video. Walz has a lot of work to do in MN and does not deserve a promotion to the national stage.
