Still force fitting 5 wavers into clear zig zags. This move down from the tops ending with the black swan event is a clear zig zag for the sp500 and the nasdaq. If you are wondering why your assumption of impulses always fail? Thats simple, because that are not impulses. Why you may ask? If a 5th wave has the same lenght as wave 1 through 3, then it is a freaking a,b,c. Its all about correlations of the waves, extensions and as a result probabilities. But you just fit forcing your impulses everywhere and dont lern from failing. No lerning effect since 2 years. How you survive markets then?

The markets are definitely in 3-wave moves and overlapping diagonals. They are now more common than ever.

Yes there are nowadays more of those 3 wave moves building up kinda wxyxz structures, but they are rare. Technically they are called expanding diagonals and have important correlations between waves 1,3 and 5. Wave 3 extends minimum 1,23x the lenght of wave 1, better 1,48 or 1,61. Wave 5 sometimes correlates stong to wave 3, but mostly to wave 1 and reaches if wave 3 hit the 1,23 lenght of wave 1 minimum the 1,48 or 1,61 and so on. Just putting labels in the chart leads to wrong assumptions you have to check the lenghts if the wave to each other

I support the idea of a Supercycle top and a correction of 80-90% but I think you should abandon the B wave idea and switch to an Impulse wave 5. Markets run into new aths next week into FOMC and will probably complete the wave in a short impulsive way maybe to 5800sh

The one comment about the USD/JPN is that this Japan carry trade has fueled the stock market. So current weakness if extended down should fuel a sell off and then when it decides to bounce hard up, I think it will actually fuel the stockmarket as more will do as they have been and buy Yen to use to buy stocks. We will see. I've been following this to see if the correlation between the two stays in tact.
