First they need to locate the nearest black hole which is probably few hundred light years away from earth. Secondly they need to make transportation fast. Like at least 90% speed of light. Currently we are not even near those speeds. So yes it would not work

Let me go ahead and point out another flaw. We need a signal that could somehow travel... say at 300× the speed of light to even escape said black hole. At our current knowledge, not even light can escape from a black hole due to the gravitational force exerted by such a beast. We likely will never know what makes up a black hole's singularity, or what it looks like. Another flaw is that nothing we know of is even strong enough to survive the gravity either. Simply put, it's a lost cause.
