In this video, I show you what happens when you get out of the car with the smartkey in your pocket and the engine is running. I conduct this experiment on my 2017 Honda CR-V, so I can't say that all cars would react in the same way, but I would assume that most cars have some sort of warning system that will alert you when this happens.

Thanks interesting ,Can you drive with out the fob once the engine started? If so for how long?

What if you don't have the key fob and you try and stick your foot under the cargo door to open it? I love that feature on suvs but then I'm paranoid thinking what if just anyone can do that and they can just randomly climb in and sit in your car? lol Thanks for your videos! :)
