Dutch still just standing there at his tent smoking a cigar in horseshoe overlook like “Arthur… I. HAVE. A. PLAN.” Yo ass ain’t been there since the beginning of chapter 2.
Charles spent days looking for Arthur's tracks, analysing the terrain and stalking him like a true hunter. Javier went to the nearby saloons and asked for some information using his charisma, wit and a little bit of bribe money. Bill just happened to stumble upon Arthur and on his way to say hello he remembered Dutch said something about go looking for Arthur a few weeks past.
I was out of the camp for a while hunting everything that I could fit on my horse and bag. Charles found me saying that Bill got kidnapped by bounty hunters. Went with him to rescue Bill. Returned to camp. Was walking around the camp. Talking. Donating supplies. Upgrading my camp. Checking out my wardrobe. Shaving. Then Dutch walks up to me saying. "What's wrong with you? You laze around the camp all day. You used to be a man of action" I was like bro. I've been away for months. Can't spend a few hours at the camp? Guess I'm not wanted here
😂 this happened to me today after literally just hanging around doing chores. I was there from like 8am till 10am n dutch says I'm hanging around like a bad smell , n then Grimshaw said basically the same thing a few minutes later ..
One time I had just bathed at Valentine I get back to camp and Miss Grimshaw slaps me in the face and forces me to bathe again I was like wtf I just did lol. Tried many times to make this event happen again even by throwing arthur in the dirt on purpose and it never ever happened to me again. This game random events are strange/hard to trigger sometimes
Same thing happened to me like a week or two ago at Clemens Point. Finally returned to camp after like 2 in game months a little bit after Bill found me out in the wilderness and so I thought, eh probably a good idea to return do some missions and feed the camp… well as soon as I return Miss Grimshaw (the annoying old bitch) decides to chew Arthur out for being so lazy and not leaving camp when I literally have been absent for 2 months and came back to camp with a beard hanging down to Arthur’s nipples. Smh no pleasing some people

Yeah, I remember that one, I was coming back from doing some Hunting near Emerald Ranch and was heading to Valentine to sell what didn’t interest me, then Javier comes out of nowhere in his horse telling me Bill got kidnap while hunting, I like the event but that was like the forth event that happend to me and distracted me from my objective, I believe I was originally doing a Mary mission, and as you see I didn’t even did it because I kept getting side tracked. It still was a good time, though.
Wish more scenarios sorta like these were added. Like you can find random gang members out and about in the wilderness, like how you can with Charles asking for help with getting back a kidnapped Bill, and you could ask them how it's going and follow with them and do stuff with them. Since they wouldn't stand around camp all day realistically and it'd be a neat thing
I'd have loved that, running into Javier or somebody in the saloon in Valentine, seeing Bill walking and talking with Sheriff Gray in Rhodes, watching a small section of a minor gambling scam Hosea and Strauss are running in Saint Denis, more little events like that would be cool
@@matthewlacey4198 There could've also been things where you need to search up different camp members like how Dutch asks others, in this video, to search up you. It could be, mechanically, like hunting legendary animals where you go to where they said they were going to be last, ask around, maybe find some things from they dropped and find them
@@sotis2 ohhhh that's cool, I love that, send Arthur out to find them as the gang's main muscle, could sew some seeds of betrayal early on by making some gang members hostile towards Arthur's request of coming back to camp, even tho its Dutch's orders
yes, that’s true, but I don’t think it really affects they coming for you or not. Dutch really stops caring about Arthur in that mission that he “insists John and the ladies need to go”
@@yaboitucktuck5952 Same but with Javier. One time I was hunting one of the legendary animals and I was on the last clue and Javier came up an scared me and I accidentally pressed the go back to camp button so I loaded my save to before the hunt
Right. Dutch always pissed me off in chapter 6 when I would greet him and afterwards he'd say run along now like a little child. I wanted to press the choke button right then and there.
I blitzed through my first play through. Now, in my second at around chapter 4. I spend most of my time hunting and crafting, finding all the treasures, cigarette cards, and completing challenges. It's so nice to have a game where you can just relax and live the life of the character. Basically, living off the land by yourself.
I've only ever had 1 encounter like this and that was by Charles to save Bill who got kidnapped, never been asked to come back, maybe haven't spent long enough away
I was so immersed in fishing and hunting animals and suddenly Javier showed up asking me if I wanted to return to the camp and I kindly refused and kept doing my things lmao
I'm in chapter two haven't gone to camp in a while, I upgraded absolutely everything for those ungrateful bastards and you've just given me a new mission I ain't going back till they send someone like this
I can imagine Arthur enjoying the sights of the world and making money outside the gang but nothing means more to him than the gang and he’d surely return after realising that he’s been away for too long.
Once I had an encounter with Javier, he said it was pure luck to find Arthur in the way and then he asked Arthur helping him to save Bill because Bill was captured by a bunch of bounty hunters, Arthur and Javier rode to hunters camp, shoot everyone there and save Bill
my dad and i literally always got these because we both just enjoyed every part of the game. missions were always the last thing we did. he also throughly enjoyed being VERY rich. i spent my money on haircuts and clothes… 😅
Only ever got called back once, usually swing by with a buck or two since apparently I’m the only one that can hunt…. Was genuinely surprised and thought, well since Charles went out of his way I don’t want to waste his time… I’ll go
My most embarrassing one was when I was near a little cabin that I wanted to go to and while walking towards it, an ox ran me over. As I was laying there I heard Charles' voice. '...Hi Charles' 🤦♀️

Happened to me LOL. I was busy hunting sh!t, collecting animals for days that Charles just suddenly checked on me. lol, sorry Charles. I forgot you asked me to buy milk, got sidetracked.
If U go back with em do U get dialogue? Or do they run off on their own? I'm pretty sure I only had Charles come after me and I told him I'd be back soon
I swear this woulda been me if I was Arthur. Dutch and the crew were giving me so much bad vibes from the start, I would stay as far away from this people as I could.
