In this video, we're taking a close look to the max rank in Sonic Superstars... or is there even one?
If you aren't familiar with the ranking system in Battle Mode, then here is how it works:
Each online match you are gaining points which level up your rank. There are different rank tiers, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Super and Legend. In order to get to the Legend tier, you need 21400 points. Each win gives you a maximum of 10 points.
But there are actually some customizable rewards for ranking up.

Impressive. Normally I would go and do 100% but Battle Mode in Sonic Superstars is just insane comittment even I cant handle. I have 2 questions: How far do you need to rank up to unlock all Cosmetics tied to the Battle Mode? And how long would you think this would take if you're starting from 0?

Hey UTA, I appreciate checking out my video! Yeah, it was a pretty tough grind and I don't recommend anybody to do it. But now to your questions: *1.* In order to unlock every battle mode cosmetic, you need to grind until the _Legend_ rank tier. Here are all the rank tiers: _Bronze_ , _Silver_ , _Gold_ , _Platinum_ , _Super_ , _Legend_ Each rank tier has 10 levels. If you reach the 10th level, you will upgrade to the next tier. You earn the points by winning matches. *2.* If you start from 0, you will need around 250 hours of constantly playing the online matches over and over again. Mostly with bots, because there are barely people that still play this mode. I hope this was helpful!

Hey, those are all the rank tiers? But what about rookie, runner, and fighter ranks?

@@chrisconroy6445 I know it seems a bit complicated, but the ranks like Rookie, Runner, Fighter etc. are the parts of rank tiers. You need to reach 10 ranks to rank up a new rank tier. *For example:* You are new to the battle mode. The current rank you have is Rookie. After some hours, you ranked up 10 times and achieved a new rank tier, called "Bronze". This resets your rank and you land to Rookie again. I hope this was somehow understandable.

@@chrisconroy6445 Because I didn't show how I got to the Legend tier for the first time. I was at Rookie again, but ranked up 9 times to achieve the Grandmaster title. This is always the last rank before switching to a new rank tier.

I love this but the one reason I don’t play it much is because the run animation is Mattel Sonic’s fly animation and I want a fully run animation not fly. So if you didn’t understand that… pls just add unlockable animations for our robot, I would be sooooo happy

Sorta disappointed the online mode servers are empty as hell. But, to be fair, it does feel really half-baked, and it was literally what mainly hyped Superstars, having an online mode, even if not coop. (Only 2D game to have online coop to this day is Sonic 4 Ep. II 💀) but, yeah. They should’ve put more effort into it. Some of the animations and the momentum don’t even work right for the robots.

First question:To rank up,do i have To play with friends? Second question:what button do i press so that when they Five the results they give me the coiné (i’m form ps4)

*1.* You don't necessarily need to play with friends to rank up, it's also possible with bots. Just make sure you play in Online Mode. *2.* To get the medals from the results screen of the end of a match, you just need to press B (Switch), X (PlayStation) or A (Xbox) to continue.
