I have been down the road with knee injuries..you are correct about the support being around you and keeping you focus and head up...I truly didn't have that, I had ppl to count for appts, but not the mental part. Therapy is very important to take and actually due..it's been almost 13 yrs since then and have had to turn to therapy 4 times..also what wasn't told to me which I guess was common sense, but since I never experince that I didn't know better..but when your moving, standing, bending try your hardest to not put all your weight on the other leg...I didn't think about trying to balance it and ended up injuring my other knee and had to go through the whole recovery journey again. Keeping you in my prayers.Thanks for sharing your story, it will help someone out there.

It’s not clout chasing, and honestly this situation is almost a bit surreal. That’s crazy to think you went on vacation feeling fine all of a sudden thinking you got food poisoning just to be told you have an infection in your blood and heart, then told you have to have an emergency knee surgery. That’s a lot to take in and you deserve to share your journey 💯

I am a nursing student and to me this is like studying a pt and finding the answers. Being able to identify what procedures you refer to and think what the Dr’s may suggest next ! Omg looks like my knee scar from my ACL surgery. Don't be scared if it goes a little numb around the surrounding scar for a while. Physical therapy was so helpful. Your smaller than me so your healing process should be great. Get better soon ken!

Definitely an ACL scar but years later i had cosmetic scar revision surgery and used some bio oil, cocoa butter, and some other vitamin supplements orally. Now a decade later- its gone. Look for a good cosmetic dermatologist!

I had sepsis and mrsa...I was treated with what they called the cousins of penicillin with a semi perm iv line and it was a process both times, but I made it. So keep the positive attitude ❤ There is definitely light at the end of the tunnel.

You're already helping people by sharing your story Ken, and I hope you continue to update us. What's happening to you can happen to any of us, we'll know for sure to take our symptoms serious and get help as soon as possible. *****And as a cautionary tale to others traveling abroad, be careful with the things you're coming in contact with. Don't even brush with the running water cause you'll swallow a little bit. Use bottle water for everything or if you're in a airbnb, boil a big pot of water and use that for face/mouth hygiene*****

Hello Ken I've been watching you for several years now, sorry for your mishaps of your health but praying for a speedy complete recovery (my 3yr old grandson had the same experience Thank God for favor) and so you was going through this while you were working out in training and I remember you kept having slight issues with that leg/knee but God is a healer Trust Him and stay Blessed 💪🏿🙏🏾❣

Hey Ken I’m really sending you love and light throughout this recovery process As a person who I knew on the internet for awhile this is sad I know the same feeling you’re going thru I tore my quad tendon back in January had to get surgery in February and I currently have the same scar as you not going to lie the recovery process was depressing even the physical therapy was a lot but it was sooo worth it but like you said you just have to stay positive and be in spirits 🫶🏾🫶🏾
