i actually think so, at least something similar to that. i imagine figure doesn't have teleportation powers, i think that would be kind of weird in room 100 after figure jumps out the window, it most likely died. the one that starts chasing you after you complete the breaker puzzle comes out of a window-less room that only contains 5 empty shelves and a photo of bald kreekcraft, which means that the figure who jumped out wasnt able to just climb back into the hotel i also think that the weird flesh that has flies around it which you can find after room 50 is somehow related to figure, it may be what figures are made of. the room that the figure who starts chasing you after you open the door in room 100 comes out of a tiny room that has a floor covered in that flesh (im fairly sure it is, i havent gotten a close look myself though) so it may have just assembled itself there somehow the fact that the flesh only really appears in rooms that are either already infested by figure (door 100) or rooms that were destroyed by figure (the ones with broken walls, scratch marks, etc. el goblino confirms that the figure in the library did this) makes me think the figure in the library actually left all that flesh behind somehow

@@alienzxist (as of what we see here) figure just teleports away when you leave, but yeah I think it might still happen, because there wasnt teamates behind. If that is the case though good god thats some complex coding

no he just despawns and on round 100 he respawns again just putting a bunch of complex models like this out of view would be both useless and be laggy

Figured library model is destroyed after you leave the library. They use another model that works with door 100. So that way, it doesn’t take a lot more scripting.

true because if the cutscene model would have an AI script inside of it, the cutscene would break and it would instantly chase the player before the player even opens the door

I did the same thing! I was playing and figure kept guarding the stairway to the upstairs, so I just stayed downstairs and thought I'd tp to my teammate when they got through... no such luck, and I lost my head in the process😂

You can actually go hide if you time it perfectly, one time I waited until figure was extremely near me and I hid, then hide kicked me out and the figure disappeared, then you just gotta wait until your friends go to room 56 so glitch takes you

i agree with this idea, it should really be added also it could be like he breaks the window in the room after room 51 so he just comes into the room and if any of the players make noise, figure just kills them then just runs to door 100 then when you come to door 99 figure is outside the window staring inside then just disappears and goes behind the gate. i wish this was added to doors, i would really like this idea

yea the AI script resets after you escape the library so that the minigame script gets destroyed and that skips the minigame to instantly lose it and you just die so figure does have "BLIND MODE" and "AGGRO MODE" which will somehow fix figure's eyes because figure does have eyes but they are just invisible lol

Yeah you have to all run away or it will go rage quit and instakill everyone left in the library, no matter if you are crouched or hidden. What I dumbly guess is that the door closing makes a huge echo, and since the Figure is blind, as a lot of blind living beings do, they use the echolocation to find things around them (that's way it doesn't crush against walls, unless you bug it), and the echo of the big door closing makes them detect all people stuck inside, a frequency level that its bellow can't get Also, we know Figure is more than just one creature, there's a theory that says it actually has eyes behind its teeth (so uncomfortable to eat btw)

@@stefanivaella5297 lol it is because figure gets the AI reset after the door closing cutscene plays so that makes figure find everyone left in the library no matter if they are crouching or hiding - if you are hiding, you will die without the minigame

everyone knows that, though he does not get destroyed or teleported away, it moves him into void (stud by stud by decreasing the Y axis until he gets destroyed by void) also if he would open all the 100 doors that would destroy the room you are currently hiding in and that would break the entire game

@@markerfunny It would also probably spawn more of rush and other entities like halt or ambush

@@kamo_bigmoney yeah but i think the spawning scripts only work when player goes through a door and entities are not detected by the spawning scripts so this would probably just break the entire game like it could even spawn ambush and halt at the same time so that ambush goes through halt's hallway and player just dies, which makes the game impossible

he does not teleport to door 100 because room 100 is unloaded at that time and it loads when you come to door 98 (i think it loads 3 rooms after the current room and it unloads 3 rooms before the current room) so basically figure is stored in ReplicatedStorage or something and then he gets cloned into Workspace as a T-Posing figure until you open the gate (if you are lagging then you can see him T-Posing on top of the stairs i think idk)

because he somehow activates "AGGRO MODE" and he is not blind anymore now he finds you no matter where you are (actually he will sense you in a radius but idk what that radius is)

Cause they’re two different models cause the devs didn’t want to do much scripting so they made 2 figure models to match their levels

Actually in door 100 figure can get stuck which gives you an advantage of winning

yeah its patched bc you cant get to bed when you are top of it
