Artabotrys are very interesting, medium sized vines from Asia. These beautiful vines with shiny green leaves are not really grown for the flowers. People like them for the unusual fragrance. They are also called "juicy fruit vine". Artabotrys hexapetalus sports an amazing perfume fragrance. The perfume from this flower smells as a combination of lemon and melon, extremely fragrant. Flowers are similar to the tree because blooms start pale green then turn yellow with age. Flowers produce scents that last for days even when picked and taken indoors to perfume your home. They also provide many benefits to human health.
