What happens when you delete system32? In this short I go through the steps of deleting System32 from my computer. What would happen if you actually delete it though. If you just try straight away to delete it, it wont let you. You need to first go through and change the permissions of the folder and then you can delete it. Even then some files won't delete from System32 because they are currently in use by windows. Well find out what really happens when you delete system32 from windows. What happens?

I've always thought that it's impossible to delete files that are critical to Windows, especially if they are used by Windows.

Normally yes that's why he had to change permissions to make himself the owner of the files, then he can delete at will.

Nah the only reason its possible it because when the military is sending crucial info if the system gets breached only way to destroy the info is to destroy the computer itself so they delete critical files

I remember my brother told me he: “I just deleted this file for more disk space; now for some reason my computer isn’t working anymore. Fix it now!”. let’s say I got rid of his doc’s, licenses, games, accounts, cards, and more important stuff that he wanted to keep for future reference. I wasn’t sorry anyway

It's good to keep your system clean and fast by deleting system32 regularly, infact, Microsoft confirmed that windows defender is going to do the same(automatically delete sys32) in upcoming Windows 9.1 - 2069 edition

Guys this is such a good way to clean up for space by the way, don't worry your pc doesn't need this file because it has system64 instead which is better

Is it possible to reinstall system 32 after turning off the pc? Like using a pendrive, or putting one of those memory things into another pc with system 32, putting the system 32 in that memory and then putting that memory in the original pc?

If you delete system 32 on a random 2014 15 inch aluminum and glass laptop with a thunderbolt and thin, it will automatically boot into macOS because the random aluminum 15 inch Ultrabook is actually a MacBook
