As a textile conservator (a person who sees a lot of aged textiles)- polyester is not as hardy as one would think. Plastics are not forever or really even long lasting. Because of the changing (and opaque) formulations, it can be hard to understand what will happen in the future with synthetics. They can leach chemicals, break down rapidly, or somehow be indestructible. No one really knows. But if you keep cotton happy, it can last for literal centuries.
know, I know but this print is too cute! Can I get away with wearing it and not have it mistaken for age-play? Nothing against age-players, but it just isn't my thing ;)Joan d'Arc @FrenchMartyr Replying to @magicalgirlme WTF? so being 73 Years Old Lolita is age-play? That sounds like Hate of Seniors. WTF? Please explain

My father is a model train collector and is in a local club. When a member passes away, the family contacts the club. The other members are usually given first choice of a few items then they auction the rest of the collection off and give the money to the family. It seems to be a good system.
Your wants for an afterlife... Felt very wonderful to think of as someone who's finally thriving at 31 as a really good version of myself (getting better) after a childhood of... *sums it up quickly*... depressingly awful. Thank you.
Your chord is FANTASTIC, I'm living for that huge bow!! Edit: Dreamy Babyroom (god that spelling is weird) is one of my dream dresses, despite it's bad reputation, but of course when its up for MTO, I'm broke :')
As a fellow Texan did you know there is a law on the books that says ownership of more than 6 d*ldos are illegal? Also we currently have a noted conspiracy theorist helping write our history books for public school... ah texas you hate my guts
Well bust out the fuzzy pink handcuffs because I'm going to kinky jail... Is what I would have said if I hadn't moved to Texas last year. I guess I'm going to real jail for a long time if the cops ever raid my dresser drawer 🙈🙉🙊
u can all pry my cat ears out of my cold dead hands. 😤 excited to join all the cats in the big litterbox in the sky. 🐱❤️ i know they like to lay in petticoats, and all my dresses are already covered in cat hair anyway.
I don't have a big Lolita collection but I do have an assortment of other weird niche collectibles and such and I better be entombed with all of it cause what the heck would anyone else do with it
i collect too many different things, including a few jsks and a skirt, and if i were to be buried i would want a whole ass mausoleum to keep all my stuff buuuut i have told everyone who will listen that i wanna be cremated and compressed into a jewel to go into either a necklace or circlet. so in the case of my untimely demise my friends can have at it and they better be selling the rest of my stuff at appropriate prices
What an interesting question. I've never really thought about what I would do with my collection, but now that I'm thinking about it, I would probably give it all to my little sister. She sells vintage clothes online. While not an lolita herself, she would do her research and I know she would find them a loving home with her shop. Also lay me to rest in my Lady Sloth Nevermore jsk and bonnet. Let the crows eat me wearing their brotheren.
OMG I didn't even know that AP USA finally announced reservation dates for the current MTO's..... I tried so hard to convince myself that I don't need Melty Berry Princess but I don't think I can hold on much longer lol
I haven't watched you in ages because I took a break from j-fashion because I lost my job and had trouble finding a new one but I'm back to my old shopping addiction so I'm back and I forgot how hilarious you are. I still feel called out by your videos and that's a good thing!
Listen the definitely not bourbon is looking very temping. Also fuck yall hands off my dress. I can't take it with me but I feel like making yall work harder by deciphering the magical treasure hologram. After that yall can travel with a rag tag band of sailors under a wonderful cat Captain who is betrayed by her cyborg cook. Good Luck.
I really enjoy your vitriol and the fact that we are both sticking it out here in the east Texas taste wasteland is something I find oddly comforting. Also? I like the fruitfucker bears too, I bet they make a killer lemonade!
Did anybody else pause around 2:55ish and read, "device or possesses the same" or, "presumed to do so with knowl" because the RU-vid runtime bar was the same as the rest of the red lines that were underlining words? Does anyone else think Tyler used those red lines for underlining on purpose for this very reason?
Going to give the dresses and rest of the stuff to the National Trust UK. sell them for victorian costumes of that period dresses and for the men fashion too. What they need for the customers to visit the buildings/castles will be the best decision to do for them, I definitely be happy died person indeed no fail there lol I would suggest people donate their dresses/items to the Japan convention/lolita groups to help the community in their country to grow.
I've decided that will be divided up among my friends, and they can do what they like with them afterwards. I have one special bit of jewellery, which will go to my niece (it belonged to my great grandmother, then my grandmother, and then was passed on to me.) My make-up stash will be entombed with me. No one else is going to use it!
OMG that... hat.... I just.... no. Is it supposed to be a pill box style? Because it's not. If that crown were half that height it would be cute. Otherwise.... no it does just look like the eraser on the top of my My Little Pony pencil.
For me, I wanna be buried in my favorite dress and the rest sold appropriately, with any pieces my kids/grandkids like kept by the family. Cause these are MY kids/grandkids: they gonna be weird too. XD May not be the same kid of weird though. As for the afterlife; I believe we reincarnate so eh. It's fine.
Listen I've been a bit depressed at 'less popular' (less popular than AP at least) brands having to close shops and this makes me feel a little better knowing you'll be around in a few decades anyway to fight the fuck out of people for Milky chan. Tho I think we'll have to suffer for a few decades of being niche fashion wearing weirdos still until the interest (and capitalism) spikes again and we're sitting on piles of frilly gold à la star wars figurines from the 70's.
