In this Video Nouman Ali Khan talks about how when you lose sight of Allah you will replace your religon with something else and give your life & death to it. For example some people are obsessed with working out, chasing girls, drugs or chasing after money.
They make there whole purpose in life these insignificant things & when a calamity hits they become suicidal & depressed because they have no meaning in life.
So my advice is to hold on tight to the rope of Allah because Imaan is a beautiful gift which can easily be lost if you put yourself in the wrong environment & commit sins. Having Imaan is like having Jannah on earth! So Guard it & become successful in this world & the hereafter.

im really ashamed of saying this, i converted to islam when i was 17, im 18 now and because my family and most of my friends arent muslim, i find it very hard to resist going out clubbing or drinking alcohol, i used to be very into learning more about islam and i felt very good, now im kinda pushing it aside bc i want to have fun like my friends, im kinda forgetting the importance and beauty of believing, and serving Allah , i just think ots not that important now, i dont know how to controll my self what should i do???

Assalamualaikum(Peace be with you), I myself have experienced this too. The environment & friends that we have (especially in the west) play a big part in our connection with Allah. Prophet Muhammad (saws) said: “A person is likely to follow the faith of his friend, so look whom you befriend.” So i would suggest changing your friends or you could advice your current friends & find other means of entertainment & having fun. Losing some friends when following islam is common, It might be a test for you from Allah. Sometimes you have to go against the tide of society. It's never too late to turn back to Allah! Allah loves his servants & is the most forgiving. Allah loves you more than your mother & your father, he created us & gave us health, wealth & everything. So Repent before death comes, for then it will be too late :(, Ramadan is also around the corner :D Take advantage of it! Inshallah Allah will put the love of islam back into your heart

speak out the truth to your family and friends in a way that they won't feel that you are wrong even if you aren't wrong. Ask them about belief and does belief changes friendship if not then sorry I'm diverted to Islam i can't have that forbidden fun with you any more and rest for our friendship I'm always with you same as i was but with a changed belief, from better to best. and keep faith about the rest on the creator of all Allah.

I've always wanted my life to revolve around education, I used to sacrifice alot of my time studying,but ever since i failed in my final exam in 2016.My iman has been lowering,depression and suicidal thoughts followed to date.worst of all my behaviour has been changing slowly,I started indulging myself in zinaa and even betting ,something i used to hate back in high school.I really really dont know where am heading to.All those whom i thought to be my friends were nothing but hypocrites,they were happy that i had failed in my academics and lost direction in life.

i didnt studied seriously last years fsc but i do prayer 5 times a day and prayed to god that i want to get good marks and 2 days before the final exam day after praying when i slept i saw myself in classroom and exam sheet with questions written on it and after it i learned them and the same paper i got in exam and i feel happy and blessed because my cousin also dont study much but prays and every class student is shocked that how he get good marks even after failing in class tests

What, of course! In the video, he is just saying some people make things their LIFE goal such as working out which are people who focus on only getting stronger, ripped, and 6+ abs. In their life's, this is what they solely care about. 1:43 He is saying that, no, this is wrong. OUR life goal is submitting to Allah and doing good deals. Everything we do is for Allah. So yes, you may work out, but do this while keeping in mind that this is for Allah for several reasons. You gotta think of some reasons. Such as, you are working out because Allah also loves those who take care of their health before they become old.
