Hello Emma! I just shocked with your video. About Vandalized and theft property in Bulgaria I have heard often and often. Where was that happened? I think any of security in there could not help. Wish you more luck in Bulgaria.

Hi Galina, I think because I left the house house empty for so long maybe somebody thought it was abandoned. It needed renovation anyway, so whilst it's a shame I'm not too upset!

Happened to ours Dryanovets near Byala. Every piece of metal, furniture, wood had been taken, even the hot plates from the petchka. Very disappointing.

I'm sorry to hear this happened to you too. The only "furniture" I had in there of my own was a bucket with a toilet seat lid that we used as a makeshift toilet on visits and some camping chairs, these were all stolen too. Did you visit your place often? I think mine was possibly targeted because they thought it was abandoned!

@@AdventureWithEmma I believe your'e right..... there are gypsies who know the area intimately. Once they know people are piecing things back together well.... they're rich pickings as they're not always there. All window and door fittings gone, presumably for the metal. A local builder who employs them offered to do the work and said he could make sure they left it alone. Very sad. Not sure if it will every get sorted.
