Same. I have no friends. I watch to see what adult friendships look like. I think my crippling anxiety keeps me from establishing friendships with other Moms🤷🏽♀️. I often wonder if I’m missing out, but I feel so awkward when I interact with peer adults, and than I feel super self-conscious & embarrassed, which only makes me more anxious. Anxiety is literally a prison.

Awesome! I love how you all can go and do your own thing and have daddy’s watch the kids and vice versa. Idk what I would do if that was me! I haven’t had a girls weekend in year’s. I’m talking 10/11 years and that was just one night. Then again, I’m not a young mom. I am 51 with my youngest being 8.
YOU still deserve YOU time tho...... So go out and have some fun!! Even if you have to start off with one night away..... Or heck maybe even just a really nice, fun evening out with a friend or two would be an easy fun quick way to kick it off !! Cheers to you!

Ahh six flags is the best! I love that you are so into coasters Lo 🥰 my sister and I did a girls trip a few summers ago and got fast passes..spent 10 hours marathoning magic mountain. We went so hard..rode X2 with fast passes 4 times in a row and it was insane. Twisted colossus is by far the BEST though!!!! So smooth and the part where you are suspended upside down is incredible 😃

There are also those dastardly flying monkeys from Wizard of Oz, who did the biddings of the wicked witch of the west. The term is used in psychology in reference to those puppets of narcissists. I predict that Lo will one day know alot about 'fancy foods'! Just learned this: It was La Varenne from the 1600's who revolutionized renaissance & Italian cooking by creating the 5 basic 'mother sauces', hollandaise among them. Only an exceptional trip like that could culminate with a desert first lunch, lol! Food for thought: keto, paleo, med. diets may one day be a featured focus! Sarah's margharita napoli wood fired pizza looked superb (cooked at 900oF in a minute & a half!) Must try that decadent one with pear, prochuitto, arugula drizzled with trufflle oil! Sell foraged mushrooms to chefs btw, have yet to savour priciest truffles! (European) Glad you could all stomach those wild rides! Greetings from Montreal, Canada! ;)
