It's funny that you realizes early the two most important clue: 'whoever sets the rope and the lotto machine was the culprit' but arrived at the wrong conclusion because you forget who exactly sets them.
I liked this mystery because it gives you just enough info you can figure out the culprits on your own, but you can't figure out the exact details. You figure out pretty early that Cowell did the sabotage and that the girl in the box killed him, but it's only later that you understand why she did it and why he sabotaged. It also allows you to realize how messed up Fontaine's system is since through the whole quest the evidence leads you to believe he is innocent, meanwhile he's about to be sentenced for the crime through most of it. Fontaine doesn't have prime suspects. It has the person who committed the crime, and the person who will be sentenced instead of them if it's later proven the first person actually didn't do the crime. In other words not only do they do guilty until proven innocent, but they ALWAYS try to accuse someone of being guilty the moment someone even slightly suspicious appears. They cannot stand to just have suspects. One of the suspects HAS to be sentenced regardless of the evidence.
Fontaine is just the paradise of Genshin Impact. I'm done with getting all the Teleport Waypoints and wow, I love collecting hydroculous now. Whoever skips dialogue, you're missing out on the fun
The underwater exploration is so fun, and the combat system is easy and intuitive, like imagine trying to play international underwater, there is no shot
Within the first few days I unlocked I think almost all waypoints and have finished both archon quests along with like 30+ish exploration in every part of the Fontaine map
@@highswagamingwhen a new region comes i normally explore almost every part of it, i play since this game was like 5 or 6 months old, in all of this Time playing genshin and doing everything i can, i never even once got bored of this game, so yeah, rushing things doesn't isnt a bad thing atleast for me
In all fairness, the current archon quest has a lot of meaty events and it seems that they also improved the dialogues to be more comprehensible for common talks. 🤣
Out of everything in this update, my favourite is underwater exploration. After the last few chapters, it so relaxing just swimming around. I dont wanna leave.
I still can't believe some players do skip dialogues from Monstadt to Sumeru or even Fontaine but i doubt players will skip this one. Like i genuinely enjoy reading and hearing the voice lines in every story quests and YES i'm one of those who sits in a 8hr long quest while also reading the dialogues so it tooks longer for me to finish 🗿
I love Qiqi very much, honestly, I don't think she's one of the best characters in game, but she very cute and heals a lot, also I use her for abyss sometimes
I was too, Fontaine got really bold. It's telling and showing things directly that other nations only hinted at or described in subtle terms. In Fontaine they're just like "yeah they got brutally murdered. Also here's a video of it happening in high definition" When I saw the box get crushed at first I gasped out loud, then I thought nevermind it's probably just a fake out anyways, then they SHOWED THE DEAD BODY and I was cheering
@@catpoke9557 how did you do the mission? When I arrived at Fontaine, I had to do a whole other thing that's nothing related with the Lynette and Lyney incident.
30:43 dude the Vanarana area only has a small amount of chests, of course you can finish it at 100% exploration quickly 🤣 even the first area in monstadt is bigger than it 😅
I only finished the first archon quest and.. idk. Idk why people think it's better than sumeru? I'm a writer and I was fascinated and so emotionally invested in act 2, it still makes me cry till this day. The music, the story, the samsara and the idea of deja vu in genshin and all the new mechanics like i said it once and will continue saying it, nothing can beat the soul and emotions in sumeru. It was the best written archon quest and most lore heavy as well.
you as a writer might think sumeru story are the best, but for other players it just too long and draggy. I always think genshin has good story but bad storytelling. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying genshin lores are bad, I just doesn't like the way they tell you the story. So many unnecessary dialogs, very slow pace of storytelling. I mean if we are reading a novel, a long story is fine. But for a game, is best to make it concise and straight to the point. Until this day i still prefer Liyue and Inazuma archon quests. they might not be the best story content but at least you will enjoyed the entire quest and you won't feel too lengthy, instead you will ask for more.
Fontaine just had the urgency and drama and stakes that everyone needed, plus it was so intriguing every single second. To this day I still think dunyarzad should have died. It would have heightened the stakes of the situation and just how sinister the akademiya's plan was
@@snehasisdhar2541if she died then the story might go for another route (xiao can died in chasm too) she is the last hope of nahida and also the minority people that know her exist and it seem like nahida really care about her. Back then when sumeru release i see so much people said the story is pretty good, then fontaine come out and people said sumeru was bad? I dont know if they mixed up the archon quest with aranara or jeht quest, and maybe it because of the burn out and filler patch. Then new nation release and alot of people comeback like honeymoon phase.
Props to the person who called Furina Fischl 2.0. I said the same thing the moment she opened her mouth. Now I long for a voiced event that includes both so they can get into some weird verbose word battle.
Introducing the 3rd anime(?) character that broke the anime rule: Nuevillette (I'm talking about the "Never interrupt the transformation of your enemy" rule)
took me 2 days to unlock all waypoints and yes sometimes you have to do it the hard way I didn't go through the actual entrances but i climed the walls there😂😂
I would've lost at no skipping dialogue lol. fontaine quests have been better than past ones but I still couldn't bring myself to care about the people we had to interview for the court case
fun fact when i first tried to explore fontain (i was tryna get there) i did not notice the waverider and ended up spending like 30 minutes trying to swim there before suceeding and realising there was a waverider waypoint.
Idk if you noticed but when I just finished the Fontaine Archon quest I went to the Fountaine and just standed under it but then when i came back I heard Furinas voice Crying in the background. She was saying "So iternal. Im so lonely, Why H- How lo - long..."
the sword of gorge of whatever you came across, i spend like 20 minutes or more cuz i was determined to win even tho my attacks did like nothing but i ended up winning, yet i only got a precious chest.. so sad
I loooooveeee the cityyyyyy and all the exploration but damn I just finished the first part of the archon quest and I hated it lol I don’t wanna start the second part lmao
I think I found a massive plot hole: The mastermind's point of the 1st act is to dissolve the girl and have the water tank cover it up, making her disappear. But it is shown in the 2nd act that the girls disappeared because the bad guy want to run test on them at the evil lair to bring back his girlfriend. So the motive in the 1st act doesn't make sense, why murder a girl you can't run test on and bring attention on this matter further?
1. Everything pointed to Lyney so he'd likely assumed nothing more would come from the matter 2. Idt he cared much about the states of the girls. They're dissolved, just like his girlfriend was, and he probably figured that's good enough for a test subject (after all nobody would suspect you transporting water) 3. There's probably a grudge against the Fatui itself tbh. Idk. Seemed weird that the second suspect involved was Childe (though my memory is a bit foggy)
@@Quinton_ovo_ For your 2nd point, after 20 girls he would have no need to test if the girl would dissolve. He is not a killer, but a 'scientist'. The whole set up don't make sense.
@@Quinton_ovo_I think someone is trying to frame the Fatui. It might even be Arlecchino doing it. I think there's more to this murder than just wanting to dissolve girls.
Didnt they say the motive in the 1st act was to put the blame of the serial disappearance cases onto lyney because it would put the fatui into suspicions. The mastermind of the serial disappearances is also the one in charge of the Confrerie of Cabriere, the same people who childe fought off in the blacksmith, who was in debt to the fatui. The tank was meant to hide the fact that people can be dissolved and they didnt mean to put that out in public.
him at the start of the video: we are exploring fontaine with one of the worst characters in the game *proceeds to show qiqi* me, who uses qiqi on most of my teams and always has her out when in fontaine: 👁👄👁
