One thing that I noticed consistently is he's constantly going to his first read. He never comes off of it and finds the better match up. The league has shown time and time again that first read QBs don't make it very long in the NFL

You can’t blame bad decision making on lack of talent on offense. He could make better decisions. Not throwing silly interceptions.

Our defense helped him out big time the first two seasons. We consistently forced turnovers to give our offense good field position, spiking his passer rating with easier scores. He's playing at the same level this year without the bail out.

qb position is super hard to play. Gotta figure out so much information under pressure and with little time. I like these videos, we can learn a lot about the game

Tua, Lawrence, Hurts, and Allen did not look promising after their initial seasons. What did the gms do? Gave them actual weapons and hired competent coaching. If I am Mac, I wouldn’t mind being a backup in SF. At least Kyle Shanahan CARES about offense

At 17:56, why is the running back not holding his own by blocking? They already have four players receiving. Mac Jones is already sacked a bunch of times this season and is probable a little shell shocked at this point. Why not stay back and block, give him some more time, to make a decent throw?

Besides the patriots defense being less this year. Something definitely happened with him cuz some reading/decisions are questionable And arguably coaching. Pick him up instead of waiting on him to make the play

At 19:13, the receiver should have caught this ball. The old saying in football, if you touch the ball you need to catch the ball. I think at this point, the blame should not be on all Mac Jones shoulders.

I have never played football in my life, but I have played a lot of Madden, and I watch a lot of NFL all 22 tape. This is just bad football. On numerous occasions, you see before the ball is snapped, there are favorable numbers based on the way the defense is aligned and dude keeps going to were he has a disadvantage. Also, I am guessing Mac doesn't have the ability to change the his receiver's routes. On the last play, seeing how the Defense was aligned, I would have had my RB stay in to block, and the most inside receiver/TE, I would have him run a quick out while the other 2 ousite receivers take the DBs covering them deep. Because of the way the LB is aligned off covering, the Receiver/TE gets open fast, and wouldn't have someone to tackle him for at least 10 yards. I don't know if it's ego on the coaching side, where they say, just run what I call, but just from the plays Kurt highlighted, these could have been big plays if you read the D properly before each snap. With all the off coverage the Giants were playing, I could easily read them. Bad on Mac, and bad on the OC.

Nothing has gone wrong. He's just a YAAB. Was overrated from the start and is a CFL level QB and shouldn't be a starter in the NFL.

I’m so sick of the whole “Mac’s fault this, Mac’s fault that, bill’s fault this bill’s fault that”. He needs WEAPONS. Not washed receivers that you overpaid just cause you thought they’d look good in navy. Get MHJ, get ACTUAL TALENT, bolster the O-line and then you can decide if he’s the answer.
