Poor poor punditry. Downs is not a charity organization. If ex players wanna coach, they have to go to school and earn their coaching stripes. Those in the know have identified that Downs have to evolve their playing style. This tiki taka nonsense is redundant. Spain national team has abandoned it. There was proper research done to scout Fohloza. It was not a knee jerk reaction to losing Rhulani. Unlike at Amazulu,Fohloza has the players with technical ability and the rights requisites to deliver on his coaching ability. This is nothing but Tavern talk.
Talent identification guys. Despite what you are saying, he has earned his stripes. It may be a suprise to some of us, but to the trained eye at Sundowns, they have seen something in him, that we haven't seen. I trust the process and what Sundowns is doing deserves a benefit of a doubt. What talent did they identify in Folz? Have you seen any coaching talent so far in all the teams he's coached? How did Folz earn his stripes, when and how? Flemming who is a foreigner and white brought Folz who is also a foreigner and white. This is the 1st time after a very long time that Downs hire a white foreigner. There's so many black coaches who are much better than Folz who deserve that spot. Lehlohonolo Seema, Dance Malesela and former Downs players can do a much better job. Folz can't even command respect from all those superstars at Downs.
What did Steve won before coming to sundowns for you guys to judge Fohloza ,this thing of local coaches got me astounded ,local coaches have been failing now and then
Romaine Fohlz was brought into the team for a 1st hand European Football experience as SundownsFC will be playing in FIFACWC. It was a correct decision taken for this project

So he too will succeed at #SundownsFC. And don't forget that #SirPitso was initially a reject in South African Football fraternity after his dismal failure with Bafana Bafana, but #Motsepe's and #SundownsFC took him and made him what he is today. A well respected coach in Africa even #Rulani enjoys that privileges, So let #CoachRomaine enjoy those privileges as well

The context here is that teams hire ppl whom they think has potential to a that team great irrespective of your CV. Sundowns can be accussed of anything but not giving opportunities to South African coaches. Even with the current technical team, it is still dominated by South African as compared to both Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs. Godfrey Sapula, Michael Manzini and most of the legends already have coachng gigs at the club. When the time is right then they'll also get their opportunities like Rhulani and others.

Sundowns have made winning games look easy in the last two or four years since Pitso left.Winning was not so easy even at Pitso's era. Now,I suspect that complacency have come. Maybe ambition have changed now the focus is on CAFCL it seems as if they are taking winning PSL for granted.They feel entitled to beat Pirates in all games and scoring avalanche of goals against Chiefs but in football what make you great can also be your downfall.
