Mexican salad in korea has nothing to do with mexico. It was just a nameless side dish salad sold at the 'Mexican Chicken' franchise that was popular in the 80s and 90s. Funnily enough, 'Mexican Chicken' was just a fried chicken franchise and did not sell any real mexican chicken dishes.

@@dieniabennett9522 Im Mexican and it’s been a while since I had it, but from what I can recall it’s made with cabbage, carrots, raisins, yogurt and sometimes chopped almonds. It’s sold as a sweet side salad when you buy rotisserie chicken.

I am Mexican from Guerrero and I have seen that side salad 😂. We get it when we buy rotisserie chicken. It’s made with cabbage, carrots, raisins, and yogurt or mayo. If it’s made with yogurt the taste is sweet! I don’t like it with it has mayo 🤢
