Erica is real for this video honestly, when travelling with others it’s always people wanting different things and to plan different ways. Sometimes it’s nice to do solo exploring when you’re still out on group stays, like it’s good experience and to actually learn and want to do what you want cuz you can’t always stay joint at the hip on trips. Hope you feel better Erica 🫶🏼 keep making your videos cuz the content is SERVING 👍🏼
As an American, I recently went to Japan (Tokyo and Kyoto) for two weeks this spring and it was so incredible and beautiful! I’ve never traveled outside of the US so it was definitely intense for me because of the language, culture, and environment change! It made me realize how much of a traveler I am because I never got homesick once! The people are SO KIND; especially in Tokyo. I wish I knew more of the language but I learned a lot of new things there! Matcha is me and my mom’s favorite flavor and OOOMMGGGG it’s SO amazing there. When you mentioned being worried about having matcha in Japan and coming back to the US u we’re definitely right, it got ruined! In comparison to the matcha there it tastes like dirt here 😭 It was such an amazing experience, it was beautiful everywhere and everything I experienced and it felt like a whole new world!
Hey I have a quick question! How did u manage to communicate with people??? Did u use some kind of app or did u just go with the flow ^^ I really want to go to Japan and I only now some basic words
@@lui11za Great question! I went with my family, and we only knew things like hi, thank you, please, and stuff like that. surprisingly, because of how many tourists end up going there from america many workers understand some basic english. for example if you're ordering something, you can say the number of cost of quantity you want and they'll understand! we kept things simple and if we really needed to, we used google translate (not the best recourse but it worked).
That's so cool and I'm glad you had a good experience! I want to go with my friends, are there any places you really like? like top 3 must go to places that you recommend?
the amount of happiness I feel as a Japanese, watching erica appreciating the food, culture and language is crazyyyy~ Watching this video made me so happy and I hope you had a great time there!!!
I’m like a year older than you and i live with my mom. I barley leave the house. I go to college online 😭 I have social anxiety and seeing you go out all the time doing your own thing, growing up, speaking another language to get yourself around is so mind blowing to me. I want to be like this some day
This was so fun! I love that Erica continued to have her own fun on the trip despite the argument with her sister. It really felt like we were right there with her 😊
you're so right i also feel so bad for those animals. those "cafes" are the worst nightmares for small animals especially nocturnal/crepuscular animals because they need to sleep during the day.
Food is Japan is so top tier its actually concerning. Like even the McDonald's trumps every other McDonald's I've ever tried, it's so clean tasting and fresh?!
I'm so happy you really enjoy Japanese food as a Japanese. I live in Vancouver so your video reminds me of Japanese food and how delicious they are!!! I haven't been to half of restaurant you went to but it looks so good, I'll try them when I go back to Tokyo!
