This is the other half of my recent trip to Los Angeles. Just after Christmas I met up with my bestie Timothy Pakron @mississippivegan and we celebrated his handing in his cookbook manuscript. Our Air Bnb was in West Hollywood and we ate all the vegan food. We also spent the last night in Brentwood at Jackson's (@plantriotic) house and made him and his family dinner.

Seabirds Kitchen (Long Beach) - the vegan donut that Timothy brought me
E.A.K. Ramen - I don't recommend this place. Go to Tatsu!
Locali - the badass breakfast sandwich, the cali breakfast sandwich, kale salad
Moon Juice (Melrose Ave.) - spirit dust latte
Veggie Grill (West Hollywood) - mondo nachos, buffalo chicken snack wrap, fish tacos, fries with tempeh bacon and cheese sauce
Plant Food & Wine (Venice) - kimchi dumplings, cashew raclette, spicy udon, tempura maitake, purple potato gnocchi
Salt & Straw Ice Cream (Venice) - vegan roasted strawberry coconut ice cream (In January all the special flavs are VEGAN friendly!)
Krimsey's Cajun Kitchen (Valley Glen) - hearts of palm po' boy, hushpuppies, sauteéd greens with coconut bacon, smoky okra gumbo & cornbread, beignets
Follow Your Heart food market (Topanga) - cute but not worth driving to unless you're already in the area.
Shojin (Culver City) - matsutake mushroom tempura, gyoza, dynamite roll, ladies who crunch, spicy baked scallop roll and some other stuff I can't remember
Tatsu Ramen (West Hollywood) - hippie ramen with a side of corn! BEST EVER!
Organix (Eaglerock) - buffalo chicken sandwich, the breakfast sandwich was a special and not on the regular menu. Also a great grocery store.
Kitchen Mouse (Eaglerock) - assorted gluten free and vegan desserts
Cena Vegan (Eaglerock) - nachos and tacos. Really good! Amazing neighborhood to check out!
Block Party (Eaglerock) - great hang out spot!
Cafe Gratitude (Venice) - healthful green juice, buffalo cauliflower, tempeh caesar wrap
Food Art by Lauren (Hollywood) - ordered most of the menu. It was a bit samey. It also took a long time for the food (over an hour) - no seating. She was only 2 weeks open when we went.
Erewhon (Venice) - fancy specialty grocery store
Satdha Thai (Santa Monica) - underwhelming and not worth going to I don't think
Equeluca Cuban Cafe (Inglewood) - hot wings, the cuban sandwich, papa rellena
