I’m 19 and my mom has refused to cook food for me ever since high school. I barely ate growing up and developed an eating disorder freshmen year of 2019. I’m in college now and I still hate cooking because I don’t know much, thank god my sister moved back in here to help me out. I love and hate my mom sometimes, she doesn’t acknowledge my truama’s growing up because then she throws the line out “I guess I’m a bad mom then.” No, she’s the best mom I can ask for. However, she didn’t look after me growing up because she had to work. I don’t blame her for paying the bills, I just wish someone looked after me growing up. I was SAED by my babysitters son as a child (he was a grown man) and I developed reactive attachment disorder (I don’t trust no caretaker). I’m a freshmen in college now and life has been hard. My wisdom teeth are coming out and it’s hurting a lot, I cried because of the bad traumatic fear I have of the dentist. My mom told me to stop crying and she told me to get over it because I’m an adult now. She then yelled at me because I was crying instead of washing the dishes, and hasn’t talked to me since. I would move out but I have such bad anxiety that I somehow clings to my mother even if she treats me bad sometimes. So yeah, safe to say I’m jealous of this mother and daughter duo, especially because we are close in age. Sorry for trauma dumping, I just needed to get my feelings out which is why I’m awake at night again.

I can tell you guys are wonderful parents! Nicole and Christian are lucky to have y’all ❤️such a beautiful loving family !

Fried rice is such a staple in my house as well, it’s so easy to prepare and delicious!! this actually makes me feel less afraid and awkward to eat packed lunch at school and you’re such a great mom, my mom always cooks as well but now she’s busy with her irl job so my dad cooks more now but I still love her cooking and Linda remind me so much of my mom 😭

I live this. I’m a mom of 3 daughters 24,17 & 16 and I do this for them everyday. I even iron their clothes. My oldest graduated from The University of Texas 🤘🏽 an although she’s 24 I still do everything for her because I’ve always done it. my soon to be 18 graduates in May and my youngest will be a junior! As a mom I love helping them to make their mornings easier! Love your videos!!
