What a marvellous cook this young man is!!! Looks perfect! Just couple of tips from a Korean grandma. 1. Better spread rice on rough side of gim, so the shiny side will be shown when rolled. 2. Take off the stem of perilla leaves^^ And my secret tip nobody even knows...Gimbab goes well with milk tea(red or darjeeling), unsweetened.

Quick tip about the oil - you can soak the oil up as you go with a scrunched up pice of paper towel (e.g. bounty, scotties...etc).

My favorite kimbap combination is canned tuna seasoned and mixed kewpie mayo and siracha, sauteed carrots, blanched spinach, cucumber, pickled radish, strips of egg, rolled nice and deliciously gotta rub that sesame oil on it and sprinkle some sesame seeds! Eat with kimchi on the side! Yum always the best!!!

Stayed up really late last night and ate a lot of food. Sameee I too love making meals for loved ones. Never fails to be satisfying and relaxing. My favorite bit is when they are silent as they eat your food, then you know, a win. 😏 My favorite thing to make is a proper spinach and artichoke dip. Deluxe with roasted garlic, caramelized onions and just cheesy goodness.

as a vietnamese with the pho recipe i recomend you should put the spices and fish sauces at last 30m, it'll taste better, if you put the fish sauce in too soon, as simmering too long will make bitter taste🥺🥺. hope sombody find this help

hii i loved your butter chicken!! i love seeing people make indian food as an indian myself, and i feel like it would be awesome seeing you make some, maybe even w a korean twist! if you ever want a comforting breakfast, i would definitely suggest daal rice with mango pickle or medhu vada and idli, or if you ever want a good side dish for dinner, definitely try a chicken tikka kebab (personally i love the malai version but thats just me) love your videos sm and hope you have a good day ♥

tip! when Koreans cook samgyupsal we put paper towels with it so it absorbs the oil and it doesn't burn us lol

Same... I have a huge collection of cook books, but really, when I want to make something, I always head online for a video. My son just learned to make sushi (our very horrible version of it), now I just turn him onto gimbap, and see if he likes it as much.
