Yessss! Finally someone who actually explains what he does as a Software Engineer! Great job on this video Luke. You went into details I didn't think you'd be able to share with all of us.
Well Done Luke you deserve it 🎉40K all the effort on content pays off through your vlogs 100% keep it up supporting you all the way ❤ thanks for sharing 😊
Your vids are really motivating my dude. Currently I'm looking for a FE job after a 5 month internship. Already have been to 2 interviews and done tests in 2 companies. I have high hopes for myself! :)
You’re the goat dog. I’m 17 and studying programming but still debating if I should go to college. Watching your videos really makes me feel less stressful about my future. Love it keep making more❤❤
Damn dude for a sec I thought that was my comment. I’m turning 17 next month and learning programming as well and don’t know if I should go to college either cuz of all the new grad students who are going jobless and companies gradually removing the degree requirement
Finally a software engineer who says what he does Im tried of the vague, " check emails, code, eat lunch, meeting, go home" I actually got a better understanding and insight
Wow this is actually pure motivation from you brother, hard work and working on improving new skills pays off fucking well, keep on doing videos like this all the time
Most underrated parts of your videos are the b-roll footage and the fast camera angle changes, it really makes for a high quality video. I can safely say you are the only RU-vidr of whom I've watched more than one of their "day in the life video's" and not gotten bored. Congrats on 40k and keep up the good work!
Great storytelling in your videos, and even better video quality now also. I like your day in the life videos, especially the gym parts, but coding is also interesting. The fact that you are filming in Finland makes me identify with it more, as I live in Finland myself. Keep up the good work.
awesome to see you like the gym stuff too 💜 theres been people who comment stuff like "why do you show you working out and stuff" since i guess they just care about the coding parts but i try to push the more active lifestyle since ive personally felt how much it improved my own life aswell 🤝 also haha im probably one of the few people who are in the EU making tech videos, cant wait to show people how beautiful finland is during the summer
appreciated 💜 thats one of the main points im trying to focus on, videography is definitely a new big interest for me and its nice to get better at it 🤝
bro!!! where you live is amazing and its beautiful your life is beautiful love to see it when all i ever known is hoods love from Atlanta ga (dirty south).
Camera is good stationary, but a little shaky when you're carrying it, you'll get it figured out, loving your vids man looking to be a software engineer as well and I'm almost 30.
Video is tuffff! I was curious to see how’d it’d turn out with the new camera. Looks great can’t wait for what’s next! Also do you watch lough? He always uses that top down camera shot lol but you definitely added your own flair & unique camera shots
Haha you explaining what a fornt- and backend is with the example of subscribing, and my brain as a front- and backend developer automatically thinks of ids and foreign keys, my brain went into SQL mode
all my internships were backend / infra focused and this is my first fulltime job and got to play around alot with frontend stuff too i still take backend tasks over frontend ones if theres a choice but quite enjoy both i just like being able to see how everything works together and stuff so no huge preference for me
Hey Luke, i was busy this week and i didn't want to rush and watch the video so I am late this time, but I am liking the new camera and the recording style, keep going man it's phenomenal. Also ever since I noticed the oura ring from your initial videos I always wanted one but in India where I live it's not available i guess, is there any way you can hook me up with one. The ring is absolutely bonkers, I would love to have one. Also the music went so well this time with the video, i hope there's no copyright, keep up the great work like!! ❤
hey bro! haha there is copyright but i bought the license for the song so i get to use it in a video! also i can get you a discount but i couldnt even get my mom a free ring, i had to pay for it to get it for her too... they only allow free rings to the employees unfortunately but man big love to you if i can get a giveaway for the ring at some point ill ask for an extra one for you aswell!
@@LukeMadeIt Damn bro that's a w move by you to use that song!! ❣️ It went soo good with the video. And man i can understand how it gets with the company's perks and Bro that means a lot 😭😭 i am speechless that you just said that, much love to you man♥️, keep up the grind luke!! Always here to support you!! And man my coding is going great these days, staying consistent is the key, and the compound effects come in as a side effect, i am great and confident now.
love 💜💜 but if you only knew the behind the scenes im still a noob with this 🤣 when i recorded this video i had to do it 2x because the first day i recorded i realized all my camera settings were fucked up and the footage was unusable 💀 but just need to get the reps in to get better 🤝
💜 the thing that excites me most of the camera is that i know im not using even 50% of the possibilities of it 🤣 much things to learn but we keep moving
Big fan of the channel luke, I am currently doing a coding bootcamp and and very much enjoying it but there is so much to learn in not a lot of time.. when you were learning to code did you find you learned so much more and better whilst at a job getting the proper work life of a software engineer?
hey! its normal to feel that way at the starts theres just alot of stuff that drops on you all at once and its gonna take some time building stuff to get the basics down but ofc at work you learn "better" since you get to see how stuff works in real life applications and teams, its a bit different than just coding on your own, but if you have no experience then the next best bet is to build stuff on your own 🫡
its pretty good for anyone but just depends what youre looking to do 👀 unless theres a specific reason to learn go and not do something in python id just build with python 🤔
bro trust me if you keep improving with every video, showing your personality and stay consistent then EVENETUALLY things will click i was 2 months into youtube and uploaded like 8 videos and was at 46 subs so things can change fast 🫡 also hahahahaha people been roasting me about the phone thats the next upgrade 🤣😭
@@LukeMadeIt Thx for the nice words bro! I just dropped a new Day in the life like 5 min ago. Coincidence?! We'll never know.🤐 Now you have to spend that cool 1000$ on a new phone 💰💰
love 💜 sorry for the late reply! my advice would be to follow the classes your school teaches but if you have interest then play around with python before school starts so you get your feet wet with programming everything will make much more sense then at school theres going to be alot of stuff thrown at you at once and it can feel overwhelming but once you got that foundation built then learning new things will become increasingly easier so push through the beginning stages 🤝🤝
God I miss my gym from Barcelona man it had a sick view AND a very nice spa (metropolitan arenas) Belgium is a nice country but so grey and boring (for me). For now I have to do with basic fit. I’m glad you’re showing people working out and being healthy because devs really be sitting on their ass all day staring at screens…
@@LukeMadeIt Exactly what I''m going for but also with business and personal development like you (for now just getting used to uploading and creating consistently) good shit brother.
thank you 💜 took alot of time to sync the clips with the music, my RAM on my PC was running out so it got hella laggy with so many clips going fast on my editing software 🤣
didnt disappointe as always great work luke+ i just wanted to say thank you because im still learning to code and yesterday i wanted to give up but i said that would disappoint Luke and continued to learn i know im delusional but i dont care 😂❤️
yooooo thats fucking awesome for me to hear ngl 💜 trust me everyone has those moments when they just wanna stop but those are the times that if you push through you'll grow alot 🤝
wanted to switch it up a little 🤝 i remember you said to try out the different pacing of the videos where sometimes sitting down and talking about stuff and sometimes on the go 🫡 and hahahaha love the TOTY reference 🤣💜
thank so much luke i mean is javascript and right now im learning html css and javascript please give me a advice which langauge i should learn thank you
luke i know u dropped gaming but u need to play resident evil 4 remake i just finished it and its a masterpiece i liked the original better but its still an amazing game
Hey i am a big fan and i love that ring like OMG! but saddly it is out of my budget and my budget is 0eur lol im only 13 but i have dreams to be a software engineer like you❤
fr one of the greatest to ever do it, so many different moods and flows 🤝 when i realized that i can buy the license for one of his songs and use it on youtube i had to do it
haha nah at the end of the day its just whatever you prefer really i used to have a normal laptop that just had ubuntu installed but when switching jobs they gave the chance to go for the macbook so i thought why not 🫡 also the screen kn macbooks is really good and gets bright
@@LukeMadeIt I have been more on grind lately, programming is starting to get fun. trying to invest in Crypto but don't know where to start YET. I will go to another education after this one. So far doing good. How about you Luke?
i think if im going to do a podcast it would have to be one where im in person talking with someone i personally only watch those kind of podcasts rather than ones that are over zoom or something
havent dropped out no but currently not taking classes either 🫡 on a "gap year" and in finland theres like unlimited time pretty much in which you can finish uni and its pretty much free too so focusing on other stuff rn 👀
yo! i do push pull legs, just picked the exercises i liked the best and could feel in the muscle and for tracking my lifts i use the app "strong" you can find it in the appstore 🤝
