Enjoy my high waisted short tanline in my thumbnail 😂 Happy summer! A L S O--I've decided that I will pin this comment underneath every "What I Eat in a Day" style video. Please remember that these videos depict only *one* day of eating, and there are always variables at play such as portion size (hard to tell through the screen), activity level on that day, how hungry/busy I happened to be etc. I am intentional in *not* talking about calories, or macronutrient breakdowns because I don't believe in that approach to food personally. None of my videos should be viewed as a meal plan, the purpose is to share a variety of vegan food options. My belief is that we should all nourish ourselves, not fear food. Whether that's vegan or not, the best thing you can do is have a healthy relationship with food and your body. DO YOU! ♡

Great video and summer is a great season because it is strawberries season and I have eaten some strawberries that I grew myself. I also have grown my own salad vegetables such as mixed lettuces, spring onions, salad potatoes and would like to grow my own kale and rocket.

my dad is a “fermenter” (that’s at least what he calls himself haha), and he uses metal for all of his stuff. you can’t not use wood, but if you wanted to, you could totally use metal 😌

Even when it is so warm, I could not imagine just drinking a smoothie for breakfast because I am definitely a savoury-breakfast type of person. However, I am definitely eating salads in the morning 99% of the time ;P Also, I've been baking my own bread for a few years now and our starter has become a part of the family :D But PLEASE: just feed your starters less often and don't throw any of it away! I can never understand why people feed them all the time and then throw out a half if you can just keep them a bit longer without feeding in the fridge, as they just "go to sleep" and don't require it so frequently! It just breaks my heart as it is not only food but also billions of beneficial yeasts and bacteria! Having said that, it is super interesting to see it being done gluten-free way! I hope you're proud of starting this bread making journey as it is never an easy one! P.S. I prefer using wood as well! For me feels much more appropriate, and that's it :D

I was in the process of growing my starter from scratch which is why I was discarding. It was only about a tablespoons worth, so like I mentioned I keep them in the fridge :)
