Hi Glory, I enjoy your channel and you look amazing! I am curious about your thoughts on protein. The latest nutritional advice is that we should be getting 30 grams of protein per meal. I find that very hard to do, especially as an aging woman who can no longer handle as much food/calories. I also do not prefer to eat much animal protein, either. It looks like you are eating a lower protein diet (and thriving!) Any thoughts?
Hi Glory I recently had it confirmed that I have quite sever Osteoporosis... Ive chosen to not take the medications, opting for diet and exercise to reverse the damage. I am enjoying your videos. Thank you for sharing your information. As it is mid winter her in Australia could you say what foods you eat in winter please? Thanks Lyn
My mother had some osteoporosis. She didn't do exercise besides walking. She fell when she was in her late 70s and broke her hip. She didn't die from that and she recovered from the broken hip. She died of dementia! She also had a carotid artery surgically cleaned out when she was 69. She took blood pressure meds and cholesterol meds. So between her comorbidity diseases and her brain's disease, both of those were caused by years of a bad diet!
@@gloryb-tv my mother died of Alzheimer’s as well. The women in our family tend to be thin and small boned (I am 5’3” and 112 - my mother similar). I don’t believe she ever had a dexascan. She did, however, eat an abundance of red meat and sugar, plus heavy alcohol use for several decades. Not the way any of us want to go.
Thank you! More What I Eat videos, please. So refreshing to see more people closer to my age eating more plants. Years ago I starting cooking vegan meals for my then 16 y/o. There were no RU-vid channels to referrence (maybe a couple) and very little blogs. I had no idea what I was doing, and thought there's no way I could eat like this. I was wrong! The one thing that surprised me is how much more I enjoy cooking now with so many recipes. Easy, delicious, healthy recipes. And, I feel so much better.
Excellent information refreshing and innovative! Although, if you have a significant other in your life, do they eat the same food as you or are you making separate meals for them?
