Since I'm an English teacher, I thought I would let you know that "for Dylan and me" was correct! You wouldn't say "for I." That's the test that always works. Thanks for all your recipes and videos!
I made the corn chowder for lunch today and WOW! I had to make a few adaptations- soy milk instead of vegan cream cheese and mom ate all the cashews... we made cilantro/avocado pesto yesterday so I had to cut what tiny bit was left of the cilantro from the garden down to nubs. But I got enough to flavor it. I am out of veggie broth so I did 2 cups soy milk, 2 cups water and 2 tablespoons of chickpea miso. We loved it and have a quart in the freezer for later. Thank you!
These almond-chocolate bars look SO SO good! And honestly, it is probably one of my favourite combinations so this one will be a must-try for me! Perfect after-dinner dessert!
Somehow, your what I eat in a day videos are the most relatable compared to every other RU-vidr. They aren't idealized. Your portion sizes aren't skimpy, you aren't restricting yourself and if something snuck into your diet, you mention that as well.
Yay love two videos in a week! I think a cool concept would be all cool food recipes. Or trying to make packaged vegan meals yourself and better just by looking at the ingredients.
hahhahaha whoops..... Sometimes Final Cut Pro randomly changes the text when you export. I usually review the video before exporting, not after - I need to change that!
I came across your channel and I just had to stop when I seen you had a video on Vegan Corn Chowder 😳 girlllllll when I tell you I'm so glad I found this video I really mean it 🙌🏽🙏 I just made the corn chowder and it's amazing !!!!! The only part that made me sad was the fact that I didn't have the hand blender you have lol. I WILL definitely be trying that rice noodle dish tomorrow for lunch and going to buy a hand blender ❤️
Recently bought a HUGE pack of vermicelli noodles so I will be definitely be giving your recipe a try! Especially considering how hot it is getting- no one wants to eat very hearty and warm meals ;P
I made the Vietnamese inspired noodle bowl yesterday and it was delicious! I also made the Chinese five spice braised tofu to go along with it. Such a great addition! :)
Oooh I loved this video, so many great recipes, and really relaxed, and really pretty! I also liked when you splashed just the tiniest bit off the sauce on the counter, haha, because that's me when I cook. Very enthusiastic and sometimes I spill hahaha.
I recently started to change my diet to a vegan diet. Your videos are so inspiring! Thank you for showing that vegan food can be delicious and easy to make.
as soon as I saw the corn chowder, I had to try it with all the fresh corn we have right now. It was a hit with husband, but kid was picky. it wasn't as bright yellow, though, not sure where I went wrong - maybe too long on the corn in the beginning? Will make this again. Once you get everything chopped and ready, it does go together really fast and such simple ingredients that end in big flavor (the cilantro stems and jalapeno- so good!). AND I got to use homemade veggie stock I made from scraps. :)
Never made a corn chowder before! I feel like it is such a nice summer soup idea. As soon as I'll be able to get my hands on some fresh corn I will give it a go to switch it up a bit :D Also, immersion blender is such a great investment- so convenient! . Anyways, sending you, Dylan and the dogs lots of love! Have a great day or night!
I loved the ideas in this video. I winged variation of the chocolate cherry smoothie with peanut butter and vanilla extract, and it turned out really good! I'm excited to try the other recipes soon! You have a five spice tofu link in the description box instead of the Vietnamese inspired noodle bowl. I think that's a mistake.
Hey Caitlin, loved the video, definitely making that smoothie 🥰 do you know roughly how many calories there might be in a day of meals like this ? I’m trying to lose a bit of weight at the moment and would love to mix in some of your dishes , but I’m a bit of a calorie counter (100% not doubting for a second that they’re v v nutritious btw)
Thanks for the video I’m excited to try it💜 I don’t have anyone to talk to about what happened today so… My sister was trying to convince me to stop the vegan “shit” like she said, because I have to eat meat or I will have cancer🙄 I know it’s not true and I tried to prove her wrong but she start yelling so I stopped it’s really irritating and what hurts more is that everyone on her side no one stood up for me or even try to listen, she said the only way she gonna believe if I show her my Medical analysis, I’m not gonna expect anything from my family they are closed minded so I will stuck with my decision to be Vegan because it’s the right choice.🌱
For the chowder, can you blend veggie brother with almonds instead of cashews and get the same effect? Because I’m allergic to cashews so I wanna know the best way to replace it with something else?
Hello, enjoyed this video. I'm diabetic and concerned with caloric contents. Is it possible to get the calories in your foods. I'm trying my best to be vegan but I'm tired of straight veggies. I feel safer with them but getting bored. Thank you very much for your help.
There are resources out there for vegan diabetics if you’re interested...Mastering Diabetes is the first one that comes to mind, but I’m sure I’m forgetting others
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE speak slower. not because i dont understant you, even tho i bet there are people out there who dont understand what youre saying, but because the music in the background is so soothing and healing and your voice-over is kinda rushed and it's a little odd... try speaking at a lower tempo and you'll see some improvement in the overall feedback. Besides that, I love you and your videos and you have some beautiful shots
