Thanks for your comment! I personally dont cut out food groups I try to switch to less processed foods. So with bread you can have Whole grain bread, Rye bread or Sprouted grain bread. Just try what you sort of like and see if the body responds. But see what the doctor recommends long term. All the best in your journey ☺️
So basically a healthy well balanced diet that is achievable realistic easy to stick to no random eating times . Love this!! There's just too many ridiculous fads out there right now that just don't suit real living. ❤❤❤
If I eat what you're eating I'm definitely putting on more weight. I actually eat that n still not able to lose weight. Only 2 meals can do me for the day. Rice let me on weight. Every body type is different
Thanks for your comment Ericka! Yes we all differ in terms of how our bodies process the food we fuel it with. But I think just trying out different foods and amounts until you find what works for you is the key. Try to add a lot of walking daily and hydration it works well. All the best 🙏🏽☺️
@@RockDove5212 thats not much that’s the ideal portion of food maybe you have thyroid issues. Its could be also that you are on a plateu. If you feed the body too less the body will get used to the too less and anything above it will store as fat go check videos about that how to steadily increase your calories without you gaining weight its wonders my dear!
Carbohydrates are the fastest to store fat, have you ever tried keto? And if its not for you then eat 80% protein and healthy fats a day and 20% carbohydrates. Also a big factor is how fast you try to lose weight if you try to lose slow weight this in the video are the ideal portions! Its anyways recommended to lose weight over a year than over a few months. Its also good because access skin has more time to adapt to the weight loss that why you see many people who lose slowly weight with up tp 60% less loose skin. You can do it girl its hard but worth it!!
Love this. I was asking my doctor if I can eat white rice instead of the brown rice she said sure. Just eat a small amount. The only difference between the two brown rice have more fiber.
Haha Mimi!! Honestly I think meal preps are made for lazy ones like me too! It’s not everyday cooking (even for someone who likes to cook) it’s a task at times! Glad you enjoyed it 💕😊
This is incredibly helpful. I have ibs and this gave me new ideas for foods that won’t upset my digestion. Peppermint tea has been on my grocery list for while too!♥️thank u for the positive energy
Thanks for sharing Jackson I wasn’t aware of that, I’m sure the Australian one is equally as good😊 if I can find that original version online I’ll try it out.
Hi Angela, this was an ideal day of what I ate but the main focus was on incorporating a lot of veggies and proteins in every meal while making sure the portion size was not too much. As I found portion size to be the biggest hindrance to weight loss. But a lot of water and where possible try to move (walk, run or dance) just buy the fuel (food) you’ve eaten to work. I swear it the smallest things that helped after a month or two etc.! keep me posted on how you get on 🥳
@@SheilaFoiur welcome ive never seen a more good looking rice and chicken that rice looked stunning im a vegetarian of soon to be 8 years and even i felt hungry for it lol
This is my avarage diet but I don’t undrestand why I don’t lose any weight. With that food I manage my current weight or actually gain weight😢 I have to starve if I want to lose any weight
Thanks for sharing Emilia, no need to starve yourself. If you’re able to I would recommend trying to incorporate Low-intensity sustained-state (LISS) workouts include walking, light jogging and swimming laps etc. if you can do 30 mins, increase to 1 hour at least 5/6 days a week.
You might see the difference. But give it time 2/3 months. Try to move and burn some calories daily. It’ll be worth it and that’s what helped and keeps helping me 👍🏼❣️
Two reasons. First of all, weight loss isn't about how much or how little you eat. It's about the differential between the calories you take in and calories you burn. Meaning, you can eat an insane amount of food and still lose weight if you're insanely active (I ran track in college. In my first year I dropped below 10% body fat while eating like a maniac lol). Second of all, these are healthy meals, but it's not like they have some special ability to create a calorie deficit. You aren't going to lose weight by simply chosing a different diet. If you really want to lose weight, dedicate yourself to some level of intense physical exercise, consistently. Don't do anything so hard that you can't keep doing it, but do something that will at least get you breathing hard and sweating. Walk as much as possible as well. Incorporate more protein and less carbs into your diet. Drink more water, eat less salt, and sleep more. As long as you burn more calories than you take in, you will lose weight. You might feel a bit hungry at times, but you definitely don't need to starve. The most important part, especially if you have a significant amount of weight to lose, is to move at a sustainable pace. You can lose a TON of weight in just a couple months if you are consistent and don't cheat yourself, so find something that's sustainable for you. (Sorry for the long message, and good luck.)
This is brilliant Rashad and also very well put! I must say that it’s similar to what I’ve been doing and I’ve maintained my weight loss. And I agree the sustainable workout is key my chosen exercise was walking and I lost so much weight and got to the point where it was literally falling off without zero effort regardless of what I eat thereafter. But I still kept a clean balanced meal like I’ve shown in this video. I hope people read your reply and implement it. Thanks for sharing 😊
I would recommend not trying to lose weight weekly as the body fluctuates due to water retention etc. but focus on measuring more longer term monthly /quarterly and yearly! It keeps you on track. And maybe in a year you could lose 5-10 kgs but remember regular movement like walking, swimming, light jogging will help you lose weight. 😊
lol I know it can get tricky! Do what works best for your body. But yes I do workout but low intensity workouts so lots of walking, swimming and stretching
a doctor told my friend once to not eat bread or potatoes or white rice. and no pasta..i guess this means the only stuff left to eat is chicken and fish and fruit and vegetables and eggs and oatmeal cereal
I mostly only eat one meal a day which is dinner and I’ll have my protein with rice and some veggies and I wondered why I was gaining so much weight. Then I realized I’m a stay at home mom that gets bored very easily and then I binge eat unhealthy snacks as well as drink lots of sugary drinks never water 😭. Now im juicing fruits and vegetables and drinking more water as well as drinking ballerina tea and I cut out red meat, chicken sugar, salt, carbs, and dairy. Basically im plant based with the exception of salmon 3x a week so really pescatarian but plant based/vegan sounds better 🤣. Oh and I’m trying to go to the gym at least 5x a week yall pray for me 😭
Well done Shalay!🤗 Sounds like you’re doing really well and you’ll soon be on track to having the healthy lifestyle. Being pescatarian isn’t a terrible idea and it works best if you find meat and dairy products don’t work well for you. But I’m cheering you on from a distance 🎉🥂
Bruh😩 i literally can't lose weight I just eat 2 boil eggs and drink a cup of black tea without sugar in breakfast and salad in dinner still I can't lose weight and I do gym as well ☹️
Thanks for your comment Salman. I know what you mean but sometimes it’s not the food… look into getting your thyroid checked that sometimes messes with metabolism (I’m not a doctor just heard of this) or perhaps you might need a detox the gut. But I hope you find something that helps soon 🙏🏽😊
I was the same, however, my inability to lose weight came down to a medication I was taking. My doctor gave me another medication to counter the drug causing weight stability/gain. It's definitely worth a doctors visit.
You aren't eating enough. If that is all you are eating, your body will go into starvation mode and hold on to the weight even more because it isn't being properly fueled by food. It seems counterintuitive but eating more and similar to how the video shows should help.
Get checked to see if have any thyroid problems or a hormone imbalance and also make sure you are drinking g enough water because when you are dehydrated your metabolism slows down a lot and I had to learn this the hard way because I have always struggled with drinking water because I keep forgetting to drink water throughout the day because I’m always busy and kept gaining wait even with diets
@@ceciliacui8510 same with me! I wish you luck just try to remember why your doing this and why you cant eat the snacks. Find motivation, and again, good luck!
@@SheilaFoilol maybe make a whole short video of you making food but it's all roses, fried roses, baked roses, roses blended as protein shake, for jokes but be serious about it yk
Thank you Alec, so much of my recipes are mine. I love to cook so I’m constantly trying things out. I hope to collate enough to create a recipe book at some point 😊🙏🏽
Hi Yusuf, I’m the video i speak about having weetabix or oats with fruits in the morning. For lunch I have a balanced plate protein, carbohydrates and veggies and snack on fruits etcs. Please watch some of my meal plans to see more detailed information. No I don’t count calories, I just eat the portions according to what I noticed works for me so I’m not too full. But I’m sure there’s ways such as apps and portion plates that can help too.
It’s not so much avoiding just try to eat fresh foods with less saturated oils and lots of water for hydration! But moderation is the key in everything. Try to see a doctor if need guidance of the weight loss. Good luck! 😊
Hi Ashish, thanks for your comment. I am not qualified to give you that answer, you would need to calculate that based on your current weight, height and age as well as level of activity to understand what you need to fuel your body. We’re all so different and that’s why I don’t mention calorie counting to avoid confusing people. Speak to a doctor or nutritionist about that. Good luck! 😊
Hi Ivan, It took the best part of 3/4 months to see the major changes, by 5 months it started falling off without too much effort. Please consider walking and low impact exercises to help yourself! Good luck
Hi Ryan, this is what worked for me. I am sharing it to inspire others to just considered a balanced meal instead of extreme diets. I would say speak to a GP and see what they recommend for you based on your needs. But this works for my body, all the best!
You’ll need to calculate your caloric needs to get an idea how much you need to eat to lose weight. Try searching for a TDEE calculator. You can eat what’s in the video, it’s all healthy, but it’s the portions that will determine your weight ultimately
Thank you for the suggestion Cameo. Hopefully that helps Ryan and anyone else looking to kick start their healthy eating journey this year. Thanks again!
Entirely to much food for me ... I have eggs and toast for breakfast, Progresso soup for lunch and salad and salmon for dinner .. sometimes crab cakes or Mackarel.. any kind of fish or skinless chicken drink water all day current weight 150.2
Sorry to hear. But if you can speak with a doctor to see what meal plan or lifestyle change is best for you based on your current health circumstances. All the best Uso 😊
larger portions don’t necessarily mean weight gain its definitely a lot more effective to eat more filling portions of healthier meals, rather than limiting yourself on meals that don’t exactly do the best thing for you
Sooo…you eat just as any other normal person 🤭 If you are losing weight “fast” eating like that you are most likely doing something else like exercise. Because just by eating rice in two meals a day is enough to gain lots of weight pretty fast. 😂
Haha!!! All our bodies respond differently, I personally have enjoyed my carbs in a balanced diet and managed to still lose weight with minimal exercise such as daily walking. But try what works for you 😊
Hi Tim, thanks for your comment. One meal a day is something that doesn’t work for me. We all have different needs for our bodies. So I do what works with mine! 😊
@@SheilaFoi I don’t understand what you mean by that. Even in shape or healthy people get diabetes and have heart attacks. I’ve seen it all in the medical field🤷🏽♀️
None taken! 🤗 This worked for me and it may for work or not for someone else. But I hope it inspires others of healthy meal options to have at home.thanks for commenting 😉
