i dont mean to be offtopic but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my account password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
Me before quarantine: "Sarah I love you but my life is busy I don't have time to watch another 25 minute vlog. Please make some shorter videos!" Me during quarantine: "This vlog is only 23 minutes? What am I supposed to do with the other 23 hours 37 minutes in the day?!" Loving the quarantine content, thank you for what you do
I tried Eric's soy curl jerky recipe and it was amazing, I couldn't believe how similar it is to Louisville's! Definitely the best jerky I've made, I'd love if you guys could try more flavors and share them 🙏🏻😁 You always convinced me to try Couch to 5k after a lifetime of hating running but quarantine gym closings forced my hand. I'm on week 2 and am loving it so far! The manageable goals are way more motivating than what I've tried in the past. Thank you for sharing the app!
omg yay! we're so glad you love the jerky! we just finished our last batch so we're going to try a new flavor this time. 🥰 we'll share it if we come upon anything good. and congrats on starting couch to 5k! i feel ya on the lifetime of hating running. it's so intimidating to start so the hardest bit is behind you! i literally just ran 3 miles today and it's crazy to me, because even 1 mile was impossible for me not too long ago. hope you keep enjoying it!
This is still one of the few vegan cooking shows I follow. There are a number of reasons for this. 1) you are both personable, likeable and easy to watch. 2) your food is realistic, 3) I appreciate how you throw things together and see how it all turns out (so many people post ‘perfect’ Instagram worthy pictures/videos of food, I don’t need it to look perfect, I need it to be realistic), 4) you are honest if the food isn’t perfect and you offer ways to improve it, 5) you obviously REALLY love food, and I dig that 🙂 keep up the good work, I hope you get more followers now that people are trapped at home!
I've been making my grilled cheese sammies in a waffle maker lately... takes like a minute and it comes out perfect!! wish I hadn't run out of red onion!!!
you’re just such a good vibe to watch with everything happening. I am so excited everytime I see you uploaded! You have such good ideas and makes me wanna go chef mode all the time.
You’re videos have been inspiring me for so long, that I finally decided to start my own RU-vid channel. So thank you so much, you’re truly an inspiration! ❤️❤️ (also a fellow vegan 🌱 btw)
Grilled cheese and tomato soup is my jaaaaam. I used to work at a coffeeshop where we sold paninis. One of them was named the gourmet grilled cheese, and it was cheddar and mozz on sourdough with parmesan sprinkled on top of the bread, so it got cooked onto the bread in the panini press, and it was amazing.
I've been seeing such a Cesar dressing all over the place: it is probably a sign I should finally try it as soon as I get my hands on some miso :D Thank you for the inspiration for using it in a pasta sald! It appeals to me much more than the classic!
If you put the bread for the grilled cheese down I assembled (both pieces of bread touching with one having an open faced cheese), you can take one of the sides with the hot side and place it directly onto the cheese to melt it better, then flip the entire sandwich and cook the other side. It makes the sandwich a lot more crispy too!
Yeeees...tomato soup must have butter!💯 I go even more butter heavy. I heat my tomato soup up and add a pat of butter on the top so I really get that buttery, tomato-y flavor in each slurp 🤗👍😋
I can see Eric is a GMM fan :D I must say, they are absolutely bomb and able to brighten any dull day you might have :D everyone just needs something entertaining and kind of stupid from time to time, right?
You can make your own vegan cheese too with soy milk you make and seitan roasts bacun sausages burgers ribs chicken look a chef conroys face book group the GENTLE CHEF its AMAZING! YOU A can bake your bread make youve vegan cheese n deli slices even mustard too..easy cheap wonderful at home your self
I was wondering if you could make a video talking about going vegan on a budget? After watching your videos, I'm ready to go vegan but it's so expensive and I'm on a fixed income. Thank you!
I was out of tofu one day and wanted scramble but all I had was canned chickpeas. So I drained/rinsed them then I pulsed them into a food processor until it they were small pieces (like if making chickpea tuna salad). I sautéed some onions and tomatoes, then I add the chickpeas mixture in and mixed. I noticed it was dry so I add a little bit of veggie broth at at a time until it was smoother. Added seasonings (garlic powder, salt, pepper, and nutritional yeast) and it was so GOOD omG! You should try it. It’s good on toast, wraps, breakfast tacos, etc.
Try going to a small local natural food store to find tofu. Also, Natural Grocer usually has it. If they don't have refrigerated, look for the shelf kind. I have also found tofu at Trader Joe's. But yeah, I haven't seen it at KS for weeks!
Hash Brown cooking tip. Boil potatoes whole until the skins pop open a little. Drain and put in fridge until cold. The skin will now just tear right off leaving all the potato meat. You can also use a butter knife to help the pealing process. Then simply grate the potatoes and cook. The potato doesn't turn gray and most of the starch has been bolied out. Try it and let me know what you think. Elvis
itdoesnttastelikechicken.com/banana-peel-bacon/ I feel like this is right down your alley, if you need some fun experiment to try!! I've not tried it myself, but sounds pretty bizarre.
Cant you make tofu You should have a stash of soy beans n coagulant like nigari soy molks easy to make so is tofu B4 it was everywere we had to often make it our selves Youve a giant box of processed dried soy curls and a freezer n pantry ful of began junk n those beyond burger but u dont make your own you support processed junk the plastic n factory pollution from them But no soy beans so cheap on Amazon if u cant find them This used to be great to watch now its like watching comercials
Immersion blender can get things very smooth but you gotta use it right. For example, you're not actually supposed to touch the bottom of the pot with it. :)
love a good grilled cheese! One of my favourite hacks is to sprinkle oregano and garlic powder into the butter and spread it in so it stays together. makes it taste a little more Italian (:
Still watching, making that potato breakfast on my weekend (tue-thurs)...looks delish...great flipping skills! You know Lulu and I are big fans...we adore you and your very sweet BF! ETA: Watched the entirety! The grilled cheese/tomato soup/salad dinner was beautiful...looked delish. Thanks for this very comforting youtube. Love you two!
girl I have always enjoyed your videos and have been watching for a long time and you have been the one to inspire me to try vegan food. Your videos are awesome and thank you for inspiring me to try to be healthy and active.
I am really interested to hear about your ayahuasca experience if you are comfortable with sharing it. ive been wishing you all the best! Eric is such a cutey
Looks like you are trying to make Spanish Omelette in the first recipe? Check out this recipe for inspiration ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6k4vYBgdwvU.html
Mayo on the outside of grilled cheese is the way to go! I had never tried that (or even heard of it) growing up, but in college one of my roommates made one like that for me, and I've never gone back to butter. It browns everything so well. Definitely give it a try sometime. :)
Where in Colorado do you live? I'm in Highlands Ranch and there's always tofu at my Sprouts on County Line & University if you're anywhere close by :) And if you are close by and want a new vegan friend, hmu!
My hubby and I have been on a grilled cheese and tomato soup kick! Except we buy store-bought everything and it takes 5 minutes to make which is one of the reasons we love it, LOL. Our fav is Imagine organic creamy tomato soup and Chao cheese on whole wheat bread. Wish I had the patience to make it homemade, looks delicious!
Missed you! Longer videos, please. I feel the struggle (for real) with finding tofu here as well.. And I'm upstate NY. Much Love and Peace from the East Coast.
I look forward to your uploads so much ♥️ I work in a supermarket here in the uk, it’s a scary time but we all have to stick together and be kind to one another ♥️
Love this! Also if you’re more of a beginner with potatoes, I’d suggest trying the red ones. They have much less starch and the skins are actually tasty depending how you cook the potato. They’re great for pan frying, roasting and even mashed with the skins. Downside is they don’t really work in soups because they can fall apart.
Thumbs up on using mayo to make grilled cheese. I was incredulous until I tried it. Helps the bread brown evenly and isn’t greasy like butter. Just needs a thin spread of mayo.
Hash browns sound real good for breakfast tomorrow... Can they be prepped ahead of time? Not that I don't literally have all the time in the world but I don't wanna wake everyone up with the food processor 😂
I think your hash brown pancake is the more aesthetically pleasing one Sarah! I also thought you said that you bought 30 types of cheese for that one recipe!
I can 100% relate to an eating schedule being shifted a lot ;P And so far, I have only managed to get it back by 0,5 hour. But you know, that is something so I am not going to complain :D
I’m holding up okay quarantine wise, but yesterday in my home town in NS, Canada there was a mass shooting that is now the biggest mass shooting in Canada’s history. I know Americans are used to hearing about these tragedies but I can’t stress enough how abnormal it is for Atlantic Canada to be ravaged like this. I know tonnes of people that lost family and friends. It’s surreal and horrible. We have gotten a taste of what Americans experience on the regular and it is unfathomable how anyone could do to people what that man did to my community.
Sharifa Taylor thank you ❤️ I’m fortunate in that I did not lose anyone I knew personally but the community was small and it’s going to have a lasting effect forever and it just hurts my heart... there were so many victims and the crimes were just horrendous.. :(
yesterday i ate two vegan sausage-rolls today ive had the same hopefully i have the motivation to eat something else today not being at work my whole sleeping and eating schedule has been way off i just dont feel hungry or crave food at all
omg i want to eat all of that. my problem so far this quarantine is that i want all of those things but i don't want to put in the effort of making anything. oops.
You inspired me SO much to go vegan 🌸 I went from thinking it was way too hard, to now uploading my own what I eat in a day video!! 🌼 thank you so much angel 🥰
This is so great to hear Lily! It's actually so easy when you get into routine and meals become so much more fun as you get to be creative! Can't wait to watch your videos :)
