I've been vegetarian for 2 years now and you make me want to go full-on vegan. I've seen a lot of other vegans that are very aggressive and condescending towards people who aren't vegan and you're the complete opposite. So kind, gentle, and living your own life and not pushing it on others as you do it naturally with your videos. You didn't tell me to be vegan in this video yet you left a mark on me to want to become one. That's the way it should be done. Otherwise people get the wrong idea about vegans as aggressive and pushy people. Thank you for sharing your life and food with us. I hope to one day be able to become a vegan and be as authentic as you XOXO
Jas Coasttocoast Go to Vegan meetups. If you are i. Los Angeles, there are tons of Vegans places and clubs.When I became a Vegan 40 years ago, I knew NO Vegans, restaurants, or recipes. Over the years, I have had tons of Vegan friends, lovers, and a Vegan husband. I have learnes that a person's lifestyle does not define their heart. If there are no Vegans, feed your meat eating friends GREAT Vegan food and before long, they will come knocking, and lastly, be the friend you want!
Yeah I wish I did, but I'm in Ohio and the "scene" is very different here. Its still new from my experience lol I'm an introvert, but I do try to go to natural markets and their corresponding event when I can.

Everything looks so tasty! OMG, those donuts!!! You and Caitlin's blogs are two of my favorites. Real talk: I have been interested in changing my eating habits for a while and I do love cooking. However, during the work week I have rarely have time to make anything and I also live in a small city where there are few healthy eating-out options. I notice that all the vegan vlogs I follow, there seems to be a lot of "cooking" throughout the day. Since that's not an option for me, what do you recommend?

Doughnuts aren't really my jam, but your homemade sweet potato ones look irresistible! Your pasta with broccoli looks so perfectly hearty and satisfying. You certainly imbue your food with your magical touch!
some doughs when you deep fry them make the oil foamy. here in Spain we have something called roscos or rosquillas (super easy to veganize recipe by the way) they are like mini doughnuts but more spongy like, we deep fried them in olive oil and also makes a lot of foam. love your recipes and style videos, girl you slay!!!
honestly this may be a radical view but i think wearing fake fur is normalizing the association between animal-derived clothing and an appearance of beauty, sophistication, etc. i don't think wearing fur (real OR fake) should be considered fashionable because even if the fur looks kind of fake it has enough of an association with dominance over animals that i think it's just not worth it for the sake of fashion
