Amina…the oreo snack you were having has pork in it. It might say on the packaging the ingredients and doesn’t mention pork but oreos hide pork inside of it.

@@-Doiibae- exactly. They aren't halal certified per se, because the certification *is just a label* which costs money. But they ARE vegetarian, and you can see from their ingredients and if you ask "is oreo vegetarian". This is also in the quote you gave "their composition or production process DOES NOT make them unsuitable for Muslim diet". Meaning they are suitable, as in they don't use any pork/meat products or alcohol (again, in the ingredients label). *edit bolded in asteriks to make it more clear
