One of the best things about Hawaii is the portion sizing. Most places don’t play around when it comes to how much food you’re given. And yeah, their fast food is super good for whatever reason. Once the only thing around me was a Charlie’s Subs. The turkey melt sub was hands down one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had in my life

LOL. HI local, born & raised. Hearing you talk about Koko Head is making me laugh so hard lmaoooo. Also, I know people like Foodland bc the price for a poke bowl is a great deal. But I personally spend the little extra for better fish from Tamura's. Once you have ahi with no fishy taste and texture, you can't go back!!! Next time you go to Foodland though, you gotta get the salt n vinegar wings in the hot food section!! ALSO, you did hikes at 12pm in HI. Ur nuts. LOL

Hi Eric! I just started watching and you are too funny. Wish I could have recommended places for you earlier. Next time you are back in hawaii, please try shave ice! Waiola’s is pretty good and also island vintage in Waikiki. Also try Ry’s poke shack in north shore! You need to try the Leonard’s Malasadas (Portuguese doughnuts) and the bakeries in hawaii like liliha bakery. And Omg mochi is totally different in hawaii. It’s the absolute best. Nisshodo’s and Fujiya’s. Take Viv with you on your next hawaii trip and enjoy these places!
This is the first video I've seen from you and I'm impressed. I'm from Oahu and I have got to say you nailed it on the comparisons with Foodland poke BOWLS and the other two well know spots. I'm a local and my go too is Foodland just because they have more locations and they are cheaper. The fish quality is not the best but its a quick and easy fix if your feigning for a Poke' Bowl with good quality and flavor. You are also correct that some foodlands make it better then others.
