Pets are apart of our family and make a lasting impact in our lives and heart. I still well up in tears sometimes when thinking about my dog I lost a few months ago. Feelings of guilt can be common, just remember to be kind to yourself because loss of any kind can be so tough/emotional. Sending love your way ❤

This is a late response: I am deeply sorry for your loss. Me and my family had suffered a loss too. my dog passed away on July 17th, her name was Chloe. My dog has a large heart and other health issues. You gave your animal the best life and cheer you on. :).

I'm so sorry you had to go through that. It's so hard to be there for their last breath, but it's also so comforting to know that they had you there the entire time. We had to do the same for our bunny after she hurt her back and paralyzed her back legs.
