The green valve stem caps are put on for your benefit, green caps mean you have nitrogen, air without moisture in it which is better for your tires and keeps the tire pressure from changing dramatically “in your tires and not regular air so a tire shop and or anyone else who puts air in your tires will know you paid extra up to 20$ a tire and don’t put reg air in your tire.

Were the tires filled with Nitrogen. By law you have to mark it.

I'm hoping this is a joke. The truck is really well done from the factory. I have the 2016 2500HD Midnight Edition with the Vortex 6.0. No def tank, no def, no worries. Unless you're pulling heavy things all day every day the diesel doesn't really make sense to me for the $11,000 up charge. With the gasser you get all the heavy duty with none of the diesel issues. Sure it's worse gas mileage and less torque/hp, but the diesel is overkill for my daily driver. The Vortex 6 is super reliable and plenty powerful. The chrome billet in the bottom of the bumper over the cooler grill isn't stock, didn't come that way. Comes with a hole there. I'd eliminate that, there are black ones on Amazon that say Duramax, Z71 or a Punisher one. Green value stem covers indicate nitrogen in the tires. Why don't you have the full floor covers in the rear? Mine came with them that cover the entire back floor with 2 pieces. Should have got the split bench in the front instead of the full buckets, less chrome; plus you get a secret lockable storage compartment in the seat. I'd be interested to see what it looks like on the inside when you turn the Chrome accents black, I'm going to guess it will look worse. Anyway, nice truck, love it, like mine. Looking forward to more mods. Interested in doing more myself.

The interior designers are thinking “profit” and carry over ability. That chrome door handle is used on 85% of their trucks. Making another 6 or 8 parts to make the thing match would have cost $250 more per truck and the cost cutters say NO ...as if adding $275 more to the sticker and making it right will matter lol

You can't have everything blacked out. It needs some contrast. I have a 2016 Dmax and I love everything about it. Honestly a lot of people are right. If all those things bothered me I would of gone with something else. When I bought my truck I made sure I loved everything about it.

Get BlackVue front and rear dash cam ,Remove chrome from lower grille its not even supposed to be there from factory,Debadge,Blackout chrome lines on grille,Do good quality full LED conversion,Get Black LED taillights and black LED third brake light.

I agree about the seats. My buddies 2011 Laramie longhorn has heated seats in the rear. Also have you noticed there no rear vents in the rear 😂?

One thing you forgot, which is #1 complaint for me - no AC vents in the back seat area!! What?!? Yeah, no vents. I have to point the middle 2 vents to the back all the time. Sucks!!

Most of the time the special edition trimming on vehicles doesn't mean the interior. And most people would complain about all black, because it would look boring.. Most of Your complaints are on small things you could change with a few dollars. My problem is the def tank and no rear vents.

Green valve stem caps means they’re filled with nitrogen and not just air

Homelink works the same on all 3 manufacturers. Garage door openers are different and have different frequencies and security codes... So you need to "teach" the system the codes coming out of your garage door fob. Since most codes are "rolling" you might not have exactly matched the rolling of the opener fob and your truck. So then you need to program the trucks "roll" to the garage door opener.

I have the same truck and none of these thing bothered me . You knew what you were buying . they dont hide it when you bought the truck. i spent $2500 to blackout the truck. not that big of a deal. do you really HATE this stuff or is it a minor inconvience? what i actually hate about this truck is the tan headliner that they wont let you change

The only 2 things you can hate on a lifted midnight edition duramax are the payment and the MPG. Otherwise you have bad taste in trucks because it's badass. And the MPG can be good if it's PPEI tune it and DPF/EGR deleted but that cost like 6-7k all together so most people won't do it.

Chris, you got a lot of criticism for this video but I agree on the styling. I own a 2017 ZO6. The interior is cheap for the price point of the car. The wheels are cast and bed in regular driving. I have 3 bent wheels after 8000 miles. I recently sold a 2007 Dodge diesel. I drove a new Ford, which was very nice, and I bought a new Dodge. Chevy has die hard Duramax fans and I think the drivetrain is why people like them, but good god, fire the styling department. I did not even drive the GM products. These trucks are expensive, we should be in love with them to pay this much. Its hard to stomach paying $60-70k for something you don't love.

The smaller silver grille is after market that’s not stock and the green valve stems definitely not what they come with

I love my 2500hd .... if you don’t like your truck that’s why a lot of us customize it to fit our own personalities..

IF...you had done some research you would realize that the GREEN valve stem caps signify that the tires have been filled with nitrogen instead of just common air. Nitrogen doesn't "bleed out" of tires like air does.

Your dealer that your bought it from put nitrogen in them. I work at the plant and air is used. That's why you had green caps.

No problems with tuning now. But you can always go with a Banks Derringer & keep warranties. 5:45 - LOL That would bug me too. Time to get the sharpie out. I'll remember that for when I get my midnight. Hope to have one next year. Valid complaint about the chrome, silver & grey fake carbon fiber. 1 of the 2, silver or carbon fiber would come off & get matched.

That's a lot of hate lol...I also have a few things I don't like about my L5P but the good out weigh the bad by a long shot! I agree with the tune issue I think they have plenty of power as they are and no need to change it...for a heavy truck they feel very light on their feet.

I’m inclined to agree I think Chevy could step up their game regarding the interior design and honestly now that I’ve seen these flaws they’d bother me as well. I’m in no way complaining about anything because I myself have an 02 Silverado 1500 that has quite a few flaws as well but hey what can we do. Love the truck keep up the great content man! Ps your truck is my iPads background because I aspire to have one at some point too, the way yours is setup it’s exactly the way I’d want mine.
