Are you applying to this MLH Fellowship? In this video I have shared some of my tips after conducting 3000+ evaluations + interviews for the program. Link: fellowship.mlh.io ➡️ Connect with me: kunalkushwaha.com #opensource
Hey kunal can you make a year wise what to study / what did you study video in college? With resources. Like MIT OCW. Kunal Kushwaha old gold videos channel has a few of your videos archived but I am sure many people would appreciate it if you can share in detail what you did. Also if you made any mistakes. Thanks for the guidance videos
No he will not Nobody wants others to succeed understand this, he is making such videos for increasing his reach, progressing his career Why would he reveal his secrets how he studied and who guided him? Obviously he had some close mentor who guided him otherwise he would be in same position like us..He is just fooling all nothing else
@@Study-ez6cf He may have reached out to someone in his career. I am trying to do the same. Yes no one helps I know, but whats the harm in trying. You need to understand not all people are like the class topper or IITians who are insecure by other people's potential. Check out Twitter and see how many people Kunal has helped... the whole idea of learning in public and open source software/contributions is collaboration not competition. If we succeed we will wish him the best for helping us. By succeed it doesnt mean we will take his job. He isn't threatened by us. All are here to learn.
@@patel5532 hey! i had my interview some time ago and since it was the first introductory round it was pretty smooth. just general questioning about ur passions and interest as to why u wanna take part in the fellowship. second interview will be more technical though but u havent gotten any update on it
@@varunshrivastava2706 hey varun! actually i still have to appear for my technical round and i dont know if i will be selected or not (hopefully i do get selected ha) but in case u r talking about the application round i think the project or code sample you submit, try to make sure its as original as possible. it doesnt matter how simplistic it is or even if its made using simple js, it shouldnt be something copied straight out of a tutorial or shouldnt be a jupyter notebook
@@varunshrivastava2706 just try to make sure you explain your project well, its something you have worked on personally and you should know about the techstack you used well and what every single line of code in ur project does.
Hey Kunal, I want to ask that; me and my friend are working on the web development project. He is designing the frontend of the project, and I am developing the backend. And we both want to apply for the MLH summer fellowship "Summer A 2023," which starts on May 30, 2023. Can we both submit the same project during our initial application, or do we need to create and submit different projects?
I have applied regarding Machine Learning Kunal!! They rejected and gave the feedback for me as they can't consider ipython notebook code as my project!! So jupyter notebook codes are not valid. Just saying with you that's it, what else a person who want to learn ML and Data Science could use other than Jupyter Lab?? As I have no answer for that, I didn't apply again
you can write same code in any other code editor as it will make ultimate project you can not make webapps out of jupyter code it is just to demonstrate ... this answer from my experience and seeing some end project..
@@nivasgopi2780 See what I would suggest is if you have built any machine learning project than try to create some actual application out of it. For example if you have build a car price prediction project then create a website and take data from user may be using form and send that data to your model and show the output. You can achieve this by using various python web frameworks like flask, django or fast API.
Make a development related project in Python I guess? Idk much about Python but you can make Django website using Python or a UI using TKinter. You do ML right, implement a ML algorithm in one your web apps or mobile app. Make sure to use some development framework like Pycharm instead of jupyter
Then it wasn't. Make better projects. I am 100% sure they tell you whether you were rejected in the interview, or was it your code sample. That is more than enough.
