What I learned from standing on one leg every day. In this video, I am going to show you how to improve single leg balance. Some benefits of single leg balance include:
-improved hip stability
-improved core strength
-posture correction
-better ankle stability.
According to American Council On Exercise “Balance not only enhances physical performance, but also contributes to improving psychological and emotional states by building self-efficacy and confidence.

He's right. A lot of people could learn from this production style. I also like that you didn't front-load all the requests for Like, Subscribe, Click Bell for Notifications, etc. Instead you delivered quality content and only asked in an understated way at the end. That was part of what encouraged me to subscribe. Thank you for this video.

I really like your channel. No obnoxious thumbnails or clickbait behavior, nor do you seem overly into yourself. You seem really calm, friendly, and down to earth, and give really simple advice for people to follow. Just hanging from a bar, or standing on one foot are great things I can easily add throughout my day. I wish you all the success. You seem like a great person =)

Single leg balancing is about the ONLY thing that will naturally strengthen the muscles and tendons of your ankle and feet: No machine or other exercises can do this. If you think doing it is challenging, try closing your eyes !! I saw an article that said you can take anyone off of the street and have them try to balance on one leg and guess their age…most anyone 50 and above have extreme difficulty doing this for more than 5 seconds!

The mechanics of being able to stand on one leg is determined by the three arches in your feet, especially the lateral arch due to its anatomical position. The improvement of the corporal equilibrium comes to having strong leg, leg anatomically being below the patella, muscles and organized correctly and furthermore it corrects flat feet overtime. Think of a bridge and what holds it together, tension and compression. The rest of the benefits are cherries added to the cake.

I used to stand on one leg half an hour in the subway on my way to high school, and back home I stood on the other leg and just had a pole close to me in case I loose balance when the subway turn or breaks. After a semester even if I was among the slimmest lightweight guys in my tae kwon do club no one could push me down when we had one leg competitions of wrestling and pushing and pulling each other down from one leg in the whole group of 20-30 students, I won every time and the big 85 kilo instructors could never get how this little 67 kilo teen could keep winning and being the last man standing in the room week after week… So, ya to practice standing on one leg does work!
